13 next weeks. It seems too good to be true.
14 Very foggy all the morning but cleared away some in afternoon. Got the upstairs swept and felt better than I did yesterday. Ethel Moore very sick in Hospital.
15 A lovely morning but cold wind to-night and fog. Heber and family got out this afternoon. Got pretty badly stuck in Ern McNeills field. Grand to hear Rodney talking. Weary to-night. Took straw off of strawberries this morning
16 Scrubbed and waxed the kitchen, went over to Unas for eggs. Not very good walking.
17 ES. A cold grey day for Easter finery. A special Easter program at United Church at night. Lovely music over radio. Anita leaving Toronto for home.
18 A nice day and I got a big washing done and the porch scrubbed. Tired at night.
19 Baked bread & cake and did a big ironing. Nan phoned from Paulines, its pouring rain and she is coming out in the morning.
20 Nan & Heber had a pretty bad road but got out before dinner. Dad pretty good today and happy to have Nan home.

Funeral at Cavendish — The funeral of the late Ernest C. Webb was held from Cavendish United Church yesterday afternoon. Service was conducted by Rev. George Goff. During the service Mr. George Clark sang as a solo “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere,” and the choir sang “Sometime We’ll Understand.” Pallbearers were Stirling Stewart, Fred Clark, David Johnstone, Grant MacCallum, George MacCoubrey, Reginald Simpson. Internment was in Cavendish Cemetery.
