25 Mr Allen, Mr & Mrs Mathews and the Misses Clogesy[?] here to supper and as usual on Saturday night Heber came out.
26 S. A perfectly lovely day and more people around than we have had this year. Reuels here to supper and the girls had 28 for lunch. All in at night.
Rev Dr. Ferguson died of a heart attack while bathing at Cavendish beach this afternoon. He and his wife had been here about a week. They were staying at one of Mrs Wyands cabins. He was pastor of St. Andrews Church (Pres) and was a friend of Lord Tweedsmuir.

27 Mrs Ferguson and the Mathews left for Ottawa this morning and Marion and Elaine came to-night. Very hot to-day. We were all at Keiths this evening.
The Brintons arrived from Woodstock
28 A lovely day but clouded up after dinner and rained a little to-night. Not feeling very good to day just tired out. Elaines all over this afternoon and Mother put on a very good show? Maybe. Hester and Gertrude here to-night. Anita went to town took Anna, Miss Moore & Miss Haszard in and took Mr Allen to Rustico to-night.
29 A grand rain last night but the sun shining this afternoon. Marion and I walked to the shore after supper. Girls had 19 in for eats. Mr Cromarty here this evening. Mrs Gillings and Miss Moore

29 and Robbie Toombs here this AM and Elaine and Isobel and Jean here this evening.
30 2 AM and no sleep yet. A lovely day and the girls had 20 for lunch at noon. Quite a number in this evening.
31 Fine again and quite warm. Marion and Elaine went over to the Brinton Cottage in the afternoon and they spent part of afternoon at the shore and came home with a rosy sunburn. Quite a number around at in the evening and the Brintons over.
Aug 1 Cloudy and raining this afternoon. Clair Hope and Otto Groskorth came in after dinner. We went to Town at night, the first Saturday night this summer. Dad & I went to a show and the girls went to the Prince Edward. Elaine stayed with Mother.
2 S. Quite a number around. Mrs Clarke and Mrs Crocket brought Keith up so we had some stir around to-day. Tired to-night. Missionary Society put on a pageant.
3 A lovely day, threatened rain in forenoon but cleared up lovely and got clothes dried. Mima over this evening and Elaine. Quite a number around to-day.
4 A lovely day but rain showers in afternoon and quite a number of Golfers around. Mother in not very sweet humor and my nerves pretty much on edge. We took Mima up. Marion over to French River to see Gertrude and Anita and I went on to see Mrs
