Campbell and Jim. Midnight when we got home.
5 Mima here to dinner. Using new potatoes for over a week and canned 12 cans of beans. Have a grand garden this year.
6 Mrs Gillings and Miss Haszard here this AM. We took Mima to Rustico in afternoon. Marion to Bens and to-night Marion and Elaine have gone to Keiths. Ina & Louise went home too but forgot their luggage.
7 Cool to-day but fine tho’ cloudy at times. Not many around. Bill Corney came in before dinner and went back to S. Side to-night. Quite a number around to-night.
8 A perfectly lovely day all day, not a cloud and warm. Keith and Marion missed the train at Albany so had to make the trip again in the afternoon. Girls picked Marion up at Marjorie in Hunter River and took them to Town also Helen and Una. Quite a number around until dark.
9 A very fine day, quite warm. My nerves a wreck. Myron preached in Baptist Church at night and the girls went. A lot of people around.
10 Rained in the morning, in fact most of day and we were just plain lazy or tired. Marion had supper at Jerrys and we went to Brackley to see Gordon and Lydia. Had a very nice evening. Elaine stayed with Mother.

11 Washed a terrific wash and fed quite a lot of people. Had Mr & Mrs Gillings over to supper and for the evening and the Brinton family and Mr & Mrs Ben Woolner and Evylen & Miriam and Eleanor Brown for a sing song. Quite a heavy thunder storm at Hunter River and on the south side.
12 Busy and more people around on account of Old Home Week. Marion went to Town with Anita. They took Mr & Mrs Baker & Mrs Geddes into Town and got home around 3 PM. Lorne & Mary and the children up. Marion got word from Murray that he had taken Pat up to Orillia to the school or Hospital there.
13 Marion and Elaine & Mr & Mrs Gillings started away this morning. Weather pretty warm and muggy. A lot of people around and we were busy until dark. Mr Tillie got home.
14 88. Another hot day and 48 registered. A lot of people over from Nova Scotia & N. Brunswick. Very warm Oliver Bernards sale to-day and a shower for Doris Warren at Leigh Warrens to-night. Mr Smith came along about 10:30 with some things that have been needed.
15 Still very warm and showery in forenoon. Everyone busy. Anita Dad Miss Moore Miss Haszard and I went to S. Side in evening. Head not so good. Could sleep and sleep.
