18 56A. Lovely day. Warm SE wind. Ernest went to Hunter River for Lorraine. Roads terrible, almost impossible.

19 60A. Snow all gone in front of house. Reports of cold and snow in Ontario and west. 12 to 15 inches of snow. Both mail men brought wagons today. Ham here for supper.

20 58A. Rained hard last night but fine again this morning and a lovely day. Anita dug a basket of parsnips and lifted the straw and brush from her perennials. Everything growing under the straw. James O down this evening.
21 48A. Nice morning but raining hard to-night. Ernest walked in to Allen Moffats for Queenie. Paid $135.00 for her. Edgar finished at the woods to-day. Finished piecing second Irish chain quilt.

22 52A. Fine early but showery before noon. In bed all day. UC in afternoon. Anita & PJ went to Johnstons this evening.
23 Cooler to-day, Lorne McNeills have a new baby boy. This is the 4th boy for them. The two first died. Practice at Jerrys. Jas R. Stewart pretty sick. Wrote to Lottie Simpson.

24 Around 30A. Much colder to-day. Wind north & east. Girls washed. Wyand boys and Lowther kids here for evening. Dad & I went down to Bobbs.

25 30A. Cool and cloudy. East wind. No news. Everyone busy. L & PJ finished quilting Ina’s little quilt. Annie over. Play practice. Cars running on pavement.
26 40A. Not so chill to-day but cloudy and damp. The girls invited to Jerrys to 7.30 supper. Guess I’m not considered a Baptist anymore.
27 Not a bad day but dense fog a lot of the time. Got my third wedding ring quilt to-gether. Waine made dress for Ina and Anita hooking chair seats. Ernest working down the lane. YPS at Wesleys. First car running here today.

29 and to-day Mr. Quigley brought car by way of Rustico. Church to-night. Feeling rotten all day. Lucy Gallant died in the Town Hospital after an appendicitis operation last Tuesday. Sing song.
