29 10A. Lovely morning, bright and cold. Girls hooking. Went in to Wyands at night to choir practice. Eggs 24c for Grade A.
March 1 Very lamb like this morning. Went over to Manse and heard King Edward VIII speak to his people. Baptist church at night. Headache.
2 10A. Pretty cold but still fine. Girls washed and hooking. Quiet evening at home. Mrs Webb died in Halifax.

3 4A. Heavy white frost this morning and a very chill southeast wind. Girls finished two little door mats. Helen & Mabel here and Dad & Waine went to Jerrys.
4 30A. Cloudy but mild. Bob & Jennie McKenzie here for afternoon and evening. Anita went up to Fenners in afternoon. Annie & Blanche here for a while in evening.
5 38A. Mild and rained some. Ernest helping Alec at ice. Annie Lowther here to dinner. Choir practice at Manse. Dance at Preston Warrens.

6 20A. Raining and freezing in AM. Snowing in afternoon and very fine at night. YPS here and a jolly crowd. Neta gave a cookie demonstration. Very gorgeous moonlight night.

7 20A and very fine but cold. Ernest & I drove to Kensington on the ice. Had dinner at Art Henrys & tea at Mr George Simpson. Play practice at night.
8 10A. Perfect day. Ernest & I at Ern McNeills, I was there all day. John F very poorly.

9 10A. Lovely morning. Very frosty but milder to-night and a snow storm. Ernest over at Ern McNeills to-night. John F still living but unconscious. In bed all day. John F. died at 8:15 PM this evening.

10 Mild and the ice all off of trees. Ernest at Cemetery all day, tired to-night. Hard digging so much frost in ground there. Not feeling extra good. Back badly twisted. Joseph Wetherbie here for night. Play practice and Egg Circle directors meeting. Herb Wyand has egg hauling for next year.
11 44A. Lovely day and thawing. Tol McNeill came home to-night. Institute at the Manse. Heard to-night that Thyra has a young daughter. Finished piecing double Irish chain quilt.
12 52A. Thawing like smoke. Funeral in afternoon. All went but Pauline. Roads not so good. Alf Simpson here in the evening and Jerry.
13 48A. Some thaw to-day. Rained hard in morning and a lot of water running. Anita finished another mat no. 4. Lorraine & I cut out patches for another quilt. Ham here for supper. Keith sent up money for Lassie.
