in afternoon. YPS at Manse. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
15 Nice day, cold and frosty. Dad away nearly all day putting in a phone for Leigh Warren. Play meeting at Jerry’s in evening.
16 Perfect day – we girls went to Wyands to practice in the morning. Baptist service in afternoon – fair crowd. Irene here for supper. Sing song here at night.
17 Quite mild – washed in the morning and still hooking. Dad and James O. went to Town. Pauline, Neta and Reggie went to Stanley to hockey game and had a very punk skate.
18 Lovely than raining and most of the fields around here quite bare. Ham here for supper. Dad and Neta over at Jerry’s in the evening.

19 Cold and terrible gale – ice everywhere and a perfectly terrible road. Nothing much doing except hooking. Dad & I to play practice in evening about half the crowd there.
20 Lovely day – finished our mat, single width. Neta & I walked to Wesley’s to choir practice and were the only ones there – snowing a bit in evening.
21 Snowing not cold – Dad working at the pump.

22 Started for home, Elmer took me to Station. Had been to Campbellton and at Lizzies. Got out to George Webbs. Mary Bagnall on train from S. Side. Phoned home and Ernest came for me. Bitter cold bleak northeast wind and drifting. Roads rough and slewey.
23 Wind more north. United Church in afternoon. Charlie Pink came about 4 PM and here for evening.
24 Not too bad a day, a little snow falling. Girls washed and put in two small mats. Arthur came up this afternoon. Ham here for supper. WCTU at Manse, but I’m home to-night.
25 10 above this morning but Ernest went to Hunter River with a load of potatoes. 45c per bus. Edward Anita & Pauline went to New Glasgow to rink. Letters from Aunt Sadie & Mrs Bonnell. Moderated and snowing at midnight.
26 30 above this morning, looks and feels like spring. Ernest has pump up again and fixed it for sure. Arthur and Lorraine spent the afternoon and evening at Roy Toombs. Dad and I went in to Charlie Wyand in evening.
27 30. Nice day but wind chill. Arthur went home, took Mrs. Lowther with him. Rained at night. Play practice at Jerrys.

28 32A. Lovely day, Womens World Day of prayers. Anita and I there. Dorothy Toombs spent the afternoon here and went to Group at Manse with the girls. Leap Year Social. Dad and I went down to Alec’s in evening. Enid got home from Montreal.
