Aunt Sadie has been sick.
6 Fine and not so cold. Same old thing, hooking sewing and Ernest working at floor. YPS at AJs at Stanley.Robbie Willie Irene & Anita took the grey dart.
7 Fine and thawing quite fast. Ernest finished floor. Everybody tired out to-night. Dad & I went up to Fenners this evening.
Saw black bird and PJ heard robin
8 Snowing in morning. Girls went to church. Sing song here at night. Mary Clark appeared out but not Cyril. Bessie Hillman died at Bradalbane

9 Lovely day. Girls did a big big washing and nearly finished their mat. Ham here all the afternoon. Lewis Toombs went for Fleming for Annie Earl. E At Ced Simpsons.
New girl at Earl’s
10 Ernest & I went into Earls for Nellie & Harold. Pretty hard place. Spent the afternoon with Ellice. Ernest away at a private meeting of leading citizens at Mrs. Wyands to see what if anything can be done to better conditions at Earls.
11 Had rather a strenuous day with small boy as he has had cold and ear ache. Willie McKendrick very sick. Thawing quite fast tho the wind is East. Not much ice in the Gulf. Winnie & Ernest over in evening
12 Fine. Girls still hooking. Ernest went down to see Bob in afternoon. He is going to Montreal for treatment.
13 Cloudy day and rained hard in evening. Snow

going for all the wind keeps so cold. YPS was to have been at Lorne McNeills but the roads and night too bad to go.
14 Lovely spring day, wind got around to south west and thawing like smoke. Ernest and Anita went up to Reagle Paynters for mat and to Freds. Tired out with small boy.
15 Foggy all day. Baptist church in afternoon and sing-song at Wyands at night. Mr & Mrs Wyand and Bobbie Toombs here to supper. Small boy very good.
16 Finer. Ernest working at Kitchen drain. Marion in bed quite sick but better tonight. Laura Fenner & Mary in this evening and Edward.
17 Raining more or less all day. Ernest sand papering front room floor. Marion up to-day but pretty punk again to-night. Little Harold a very good boy. Dad gone to Jim Stewarts to practice dialogue
18 Lovely warm day. Snow going fast. Marion better. Made a boiler of soap. Harold out all day nearly. Good little boy. Dad got a bad cold as all the rest.

19 Lovely day. Washed. Anita quite sick. Busy all day and tired at night. Stirling & George here practicing dialogue.
