Margery Clark & Cyril Smith married March 26
24 Margaret and Pauline drove up. Keith came for fox. Elmer here in evening. CGIT in afternoon.
25 Sunday. Snowing in morning. Keith and Margaret went up to see Mother in forenoon. Here for dinner. Had ice cream. United Church in afternoon and YPS at night at Stanley. Good road and good crowd.
26 Perfect day all day. Ernest sawing wood. Marion quilting. Girls washed and churned. Earl Simpson took Hazel to Hospital for an operation for appendicitis. Ernest and I went up to Herb Simpsons in evening.
27 Snowing raining and finally cleared up and fine but thawing like the mischief. Quilting all day back sore. Saw by paper that Marge and Cyril were married yesterday. Ham here this evening. Com. meeting at Wesleys.
28 Pouring rain in the morning. Ernest went to town and came home with Lorraine in the evening. Snowed from 10 AM about 5 inches new snow down to-night. Wyand boys came out to practice.
29 Lovely day but terrible hard on the eyes, everything is so white. Finished open window quilt. Anita visiting at Fenners. Practice here to night.
30 Perfectly lovely day but wind east and quite cold. Mary McNeill here in afternoon. YPS social at Manse.

March 31 6A. Lovely fine day. Ernest went to Hunter River for flooring. Good road. Cleaned up pantry & dining room this AM. CGIT meeting in afternoon. Ernest & I went over to Jerrys in evening to discuss play, Clover Time. Arthur Wright came up for weekend
April 1 Grey day and started to rain about 5 PM. No church service in the place. Mr. Quigley came over in the evening but ‘twas pouring rain. Annie Lowther & Foster Sellars here to supper Sunday and till ten o clock. Mrs. Wyand, Herb & Lowell here too. Tired?
2 Busy getting ready for shower at night. Mary & Thelma helping. About 50 here. Marjorie looked very nice, and received some useful presents and everyone had a very nice time. Cloudy, foggy day
thawing like mad
3 Fine and road not good, thawing fast. Ernest took Lorraine to station in afternoon. Everyone tired out to day. Letters from Aunt Emily Enid Edna
4 Colder this morning, snowing and drifting. Girls hooking. I cut out house dress. Play crowd meeting at Jerrys, Anita & Dad meet Ham here for supper. Emma Wyand Moyse in Hospital again
5 Ernest started laying the hardwood floor in the front room. Miserable day snowing and drifting. Girls hooking. Mary and Lorne here in evening
