16  Lovely day. White frost again last night. Cut out dress for Anita. Anna and Mabel here in evening. Keith & Margaret blew in at 10:30 so we all got up again.

 

17  Lovely day, K & M here till after dinner. Church in afternoon. Ernest & I went over to John F’s in evening. Willie T here?

 

18  Rained hard and filled our tank to over flowing. Ham here for dinner as usual. Nice quiet evening with a story.

 

19  Lovely morning. Ernest & I went to shore for mushrooms. Did quite a washing. Poured all the afternoon. Heavy tropical storms along Atlantic coast. YP Choir practice here to-night.

 

20  Wedding anniversary 28th. Ernest & I went to Carleton in AM. Had a lovely drive. Mr Wright took us to Borden and thro’ the Car Ferry “Charlottetown.”

 

21  Poured rain. Nothing doing but stay another day.

 

22  Poured rain in AM. Left after dinner and called at Allison Profits got about 7:30. Ham & Edward here and Nellie. YPS Rustico church.

Sept 33

 

23  Showery and cold. Lorraine came home in afternoon, cut out a dress for her. Busy all day.

 

24  Still cold and showery. Communion in Institute Church in AM. Rally Service at night. YPS and Mr Green took charge. Lorraine went back in town.

 

25  Showery part of day. Ripping and sewing. Went to Institute at Leigh Warrens at night.

 

26  Lovely day to-day. Washed and canned mackerel. Mrs Hammond McKenzie and Charlie here this afternoon. Home at night. Hall meeting.

 

27  Fine and warm. Ernest ploughing. Anita went over to Ellices in afternoon. Made grape jam and Sarsaparalla wine and etc &.

 

28  Lovely day, made mustard pickles. Sewing for Nellie. Ernest ploughing sod behind barn. Went for drive with Ernest & Winnie.

 

29  Grey day and rained hard in afternoon. Cleared at sunset. YPS at Wesleys. Ernest helping put up church pipe in evening.

 

30  Lovely day sewing, made jelly for Ham. Put up cottage stove in front room. Elmer Fyfe down in evening. Nellie went home after Mission Band.
