Tommy Hiscotts have a girl. Planted hot bed.
7 Mayflowers this evening. New girl at Tommy Hiscotts.

8 Miserable cold day again. Dr Claude down. He told me a good deal that I didn’t know. Alf Simpson and Jerry here after dinner and Mr. Green Margaret and Annie here in evening. Marion went to new Glasgow with Mr Bishops.
9 Fine but still bitter cold. Girls washed. Keith hauled one load of mud from Campbellton and one from Alf Moores. “Blue” meeting at Allen Wyands. Marion and Gertrude went.
10 Lovely fine day. Keith harrowing. Ernest working in garden in morning and helping Austin saw wood in afternoon. Mrs Wyand helping girls with some sewing. Feeling fairly well to-day.
11 Lovely day, drove over to see Ellice in afternoon. Girls cleaning the yard. Sewing in AM. Practice at night at Wyands.
First drive
12 Lovely fine warm day. Letters from Maud and Mrs Logan. Anita not very spry. Marion sewing. Had to go to bed in afternoon. Have about 87 chickens. Gertrude and Don down in evening.
Fever.
13 Better again. Fine day but wind cool. Sewing in afternoon tired at night. YPS at Manse. Blues treat. Marion busy. Keith harrowing. Ernest putting in garden at Bonnells and here. Mrs Max Ferguson operated on in PEI Hosp.
14 Cold and foggy all day. Ernest spreading mud.

Body of little Lindberg baby found in woods frive miles from the Lindberg home. Little chap was kidnapped on March 1st and had been brutally murdered.
14 Girls went up for Mayflowers. Didn’t do much to-day. Mrs EC LePage operated on in PEI hospital.
15 Sunday. Lovely day. Fenner Stewarts flue caught fire and burnt a hole in roof. Annie Alfred and kiddies in to see me before dinner. Alvin Webb Isabelle Ramsey Ralph Ozen[?], Wilbur, and Grant Willis and Elynor Ackland Reuel & Enid and kiddies here. Fever
16 Blowing hard and very warm. Girls washed and got an extra perennial bed dug up. Keith sowing back field. Wm Moffat died this morning. Got up after dinner. Felt pretty sharp.

17 Very hot all day and blowing hard all day. A tiresome day for everybody. Girls painting kitchen, went over to Jerrys for a little drive and up to the church. Everybody in bed before dark.
18 Papered kitchen. Marion had to go to bed for part of the day. I made cookies, a washington pie and custard and creamed beans for supper. Everybody tired. Ernest went to Mr Moffats funeral.
19 Cooler again. Marion ironing. Anita cleaning pantry. Dad sowed west field below road. Misses Gordon, Woolner, Coughlin, McPhail, and McNeill arrived from S. Side. Very tired and sick at night.
20 Fine. Keith went to Tryon with Jack Stewart. Margaret came home to-night. YPS at Leigh Warrens. Mr & Mrs Ackland & Willie came up for Gertrude.
