24 Miserable day, snowing and cold. U. Church in afternoon, Bessie Stewart and Lucy Woolner and Mrs Wyand here also Margaret Lowther for supper.
25 Lovely fine day but wind cold. Girls washed. Keith cleaning up around home. Ernest at Bonnell place. Feeling better to-day. Mr Bishop over in afternoon.
26 Grey day and rained at night. Keith went to H. River with a load of eggs for Austin. Ernest & Austin went to funeral in afternoon. Girls canning carrots. Anita and Gertrude went to Milton Greens to-night.
27 Cloudy. Keith at Don Lamonts cutting wood. Marion sewing. Anita cleaned dining room cupboard. Poured in evening.
28 Ground white but not for long. Blowing a gale all day and not so cold. Ernest went up to Ced Simpsons for saw and to Austins for load of straw. Cemetery meeting at night. Clive McNeill has job of cemetery again $43.00. Was $49.00 last year.
Fever. Set goose eggs under hen.
29 Gertrude Ackland’s birthday, 23. Fine day, cool. Keith took away banking, Ernest put up fence. Marion & Anita went to YPS at Ben Woolners.
30 Fine day, not so cold. Girls wound up. Amanda here for afternoon. Jim Warren here in evening. Mr & Mrs Bishop in for awhile this evening. Men sawing wood. Fishermen run their lines.

1 Fine day tho’ cloudy, rained in evening. Warmer. Mr Quigley, Mrs Wyand, Annie Lowther and Wilbur Willis here. In bed all day. Sunday school started. Marion had dinner at the Manse. Fever.
2 Lovely day, wind turned cool at 4 PM. Out for an hour in the sun. Anita at Austins in forenoon. Ellice in bed with inflammation of bowels. Marion miserable. Mike Doyles has new girl.

3 Rained all day, cleared up at sun-set. Social for Mr & Mrs Bishop at Jerrys. Dad and Anita housecleaning.
4 Fine day, girls washing and moved our beds upstairs and cleaned house generally for Institute to-night. Everybody tired.

5 Miserable cold day, snowing in AM. Ernest and James O went to town. Ernest lost cheque for ten dollars. Mary Graham here this evening also Eric Bell.
6 Miserable cold cold wind. Ernest helping Wyand at shore to haul their dining room. Keith hauling mud. Townsend and Annie up in evening. Quite sick. Anita got bad cold.
Sports out for first time.
7 Lovely fine morning but wind cold to-night. Ernest at shore. Girls cleaned two big rooms. In bed all day. Young fry got lovely
