9 afternoon. Mrs Darnley came in after the funeral. George Clarke very sick with flu and mumps. They are all sick there but Hester. Anna has mumps. Keith went to Town.
10 Lovely morning. All went to church but Marion. Wilbur and Horace Willis arrived shortly after dinner. Ellice Annie and Edward over in afternoon and Ellice & Edward stayed to supper. Anita made a birthday cake for Edward.

11 Lovely fine day. Girls washed. Ernest took off the outside window. Mrs Dolph Fleming has appendicitis. Very sick at Freds and Anna very sick with mumps. Ernest and James O went to Mayfield to-night. Keith got home from Town.
Got weighed 115 lbs.
12 Blowing hard all day and poured rain from 4 PM till 10 PM. Little pigs arrived at night. Keith sawing wood at Jerrys. Anna better. Not very good to-day. Fever.
13 Lovely and warm south wind to-day. Got up after dinner. Out in sun for awhile. Letter from Aunt Sadie.
14 Fine but a little cooler. Anita at Freds to-day. They are still very sick there and Mrs Austin very poorly again. Not feeling extra good but no fever. Bible Class at Manse. Marion and Anita went.
15 Fine but wind cool. Went out a little this morning. Men cleaning grain. YPS at Ernest Clarkes. Mrs Austin very poorly. Freds better. Pretty sick. Fever.
16 Terrible day all day, snow in AM, then rain

16 and blowing hard. Letter from Aunt Maud. Roads bad. Feeling better to-night.
17 Fine but cool. Ernest went over to Austins in morning. Harriet died at 11:45 AM. Preaching in B. Church in afternoon. Mr Quigley and Geo Nesbitt here to supper. Ham here for evening.

18 Just a miserable day. Snow sleet, and rain and fog at night. Nothing much doing in house. Keith went to Hunter River for Margaret and Ernest working the road in AM and in cemetery in afternoon.
Took 60 chicks out of incubator Jersey Giants, Keiths.
19 Fine this morning. Girls washed in morning. Funeral in afternoon. Ernest at cemetery all afternoon baling water. Feeling very mean all day. Jim Warren here in evening.
20 Lovely morning. Not feeling very well. Miserable weather. Set incubator with eggs we got from Lewis Toombs. Paid 15c per doz for them. Keith took Mrs Walker to New Glasgow.

21 Terrible day. Rain and snow and cold. Sick all day. Girls sewing.
22 Dirty in the morning but cleared up at noon. Feeling pretty rotten. Ernest went to Harolds in afternoon. Keith went to Bay view for clams. YPS at Wyands, Anna and the two Mabels over for a little while.
23 Mrs John McLure died this morning. Blowing hard all day and cold. Anita & Gertrude at Austins for supper. Feeling pretty rotten.
