15 Rained most of day. Cleared up this evening. Got letter from Lizzie. Louise very poorly. Busy day.
16 Lovely day. Girls picked a nice lot of berries. Just busy. Men cutting hay. Miss Marshall came.
17 Lovely day. Pretty warm. Went with Myron to Rustico. Mr Bishop over in evening.
18 Fine all day but very hot. Very bad thunder storm at night.
20 Showery in AM. Myron took Ernest & I to S. Side to see Louise. She seems a little better. Douglas McIntosh preach this AM. Myron preaches to-night.

21 Fine day but warm. Marion went to Town with Cecil. Anita and I had a busy day. The Brintons went to Tryon. Political meeting at Clifton.
22 All busy. People came for the cottage. Everybody busy as can be. Mrs Dyke took us to the creek to night.
23 Finished hay. Ernest working at school. I went over to Hunter

23 River with Miss Rogers. Blueberries pretty good.
24 25 and 26 fine and too busy to write. Dr Myers left 24th and Mrs and Miss Glass 25th and Miss Piers and Miss Musgrave on the 26th. Pretty warm and very dry weather.
27 Lovely day, tremendous crowd at shore. Miss Myers very miserable all day and so was Marion. Mr Quigley preached. Ankle sore, got stung.
28 Very busy all day. Federal election. XYZ. Over with Winnie for awhile in afternoon.
29 Not very well. Kept quiet, had to go to bed in afternoon. Play at night. “It happened in June.” Very good.
30 Mother down to-day. Mrs Abott and the Crosbys here in afternoon. Very warm day. Girls very busy.
31 Feeling better but pretty weak. Anita sick to-night.
First Aug Misses Norris and Miss McKinnon came.
Aug 2nd Miss Gillings came.
