1 Terrible gale all day and so dry. Rain is needed very much. Busy sewing. Marion better. Spent the evening at Mr Frasers.
2 Very warm and windy. A little shower this afternoon. Made pillows and got two rooms straightened around for children at Keiths. Had a walk to shore.
3 Cloudy and foggy but no rain. Mother down, all day. Very busy. United Church Rally. Went to it last night. Pretty slow.
4 Quite cool and cloudy most of day. Mr. McFadyen brought a Mr & Mrs Johnson from Ontario here for the night. Been quite busy all day. Mr Green built the flue of cottage
5 Lovely day all day. Busy. Had the Frasers up this evening.
6 Fine and dry. Another big day at shore. Went to United Church at night. Raining.
7 Glorious rain most of day. Went to Town with Mr Fraser. Elaine & Myron arrived to-night. Tired oh boy.
July 1930
8 Misty in AM. Young People went to Tormentine picnic. All tired at night. Aunt Louise in Hospital, very sick. XYZ for me and feeling pretty rotten. Pauline busy. Mr & Mrs Fraser went to St. John.
9 Fine and cooler. Ernest fixed drain. Keith at potatos. Girls tired.
10 Lovely day, feeling better but weak. Mima came this evening. Marion cut her hand and had to see the Dr to-night.
11 Very busy all day. Poured rain, had a rest in afternoon. Mrs and Miss Glass came at night. Very nervous people.
12 Lovely day. Ernest went to S.Side to see Louise in Hospital. Orange today. Gave Mr & Mrs Clapp, Mima and the Misses Brown a lobster supper. Had a car ride to shore.
13 Very fine. Dr. Myers and wife and Miss Rogers came. Geo Webbs down from O’Leary. Church at night.
14 Lovely day but hot. Started hay to-day. Misses Brown and Mr & Mrs Clapp left and Miss Piers and Miss Musgrave came from Halifax.
