23 Lovely fine day but wind cold. Anita has cold. Class at Jerrys.
24 Lovely day, not so cold. Meeting at Jerrys to discuss Valley Farm, Play. Hooking. Shower for Mildred Woolner. Marion went.
25 Lovely fine day but the wind keeps cool. Have had very little East wind yet. Ernest & Keith at the mill getting lumber sawed in afternoon. Had big day at mat. Pretty tired.
26 Cloudy cold east wind. Pouring rain all afternoon. Brighter this evening. Mildred Woolner and Lionel Robertson to be married sometime to-day. Sore throat.
27 In bed all day throat pretty bad. Girls hooking. Men in woods. Pauline sick too.
28 Fine, feeling better but Marion and Keith got it next. Marion quite sick at night. YPs at Wesleys. Social Evening and banquet put up by the “blues.” Election of officers and Paper. Got up in evening. Sawing wood at Cecils.
29 Polly has three kittens. Grey morning and most of day. Got up at noon and hooked some in PM. Marion feeling better.
30 Fine. U Church in AM. Lorraine & I got dinner. Marion up in afternoon. Class at Jerrys. Anna has been quite miserable but no better.
31 Lovely fine day. Big day for me up at 7:30 and helped with work. Anita washed. Marion up but feeling miserable. Pauline miserable all day. Ernest & I went over to Jerrys in a carriage this evening. Elmer down on horseback. Had letter from Miss Collier, Johanasburg.
