10 Milder to-day. Snow storm in morning and snowing again to-night. Got mail to-day.
11 Lovely day. Dad & Marion washed. Dandy day for clothes. Doctor down in afternoon. Cheese Factory meeting in afternoon.
12 Perfect day again. Marion & I drove down to Chester Woolners to cut out the quilt for Institute. Got home at 9 PM all in. Marion’s throat sore. Frosty. Keith at Geo McCoubreys thrashing.
13 38A. Fine but drifting all day. Ernest went to Hunter River with potatoes. $1.05 to-day. Milder to night. Looks like rain. Marions got a sore throat.
14 Rained in night and part of forenoon. Roads bad. Lemmie Wyand has pleurisy. Marion in bed all day but seems better to-night. I made biscuits and cookies.
15 Fine and bright. Keith went to Hunter River with potatoes $1.00 per bus. Marion better. Hockey match at Stanley between Cavendish and Stanley.
16 Snowing early and turned into an old time howler. One of the worst for years. Mr Bishop went to New Glasgow and got home all right. Terrific gale 40 miles per hour.
Feb 30
Several barn roofs blew off and a great number of chimneys in Town and country down. Austins barn and pighouse roof went.
17 No mail to-day. Bitter cold but fine. The men had quite a bit of road breaking to do. Marion better.
18 Grey day but milder. Ernest washed. Got mail. Letters from Anita and Lydie. Keith at Austins thrashing.

19 Fine but a grey day. Lorraine got a letter from Mildred Dondale saying her mother had died the 8th. Institute at night at Roy Toombs. Ernest and I went. Roads very bad.

20 Fine and mild, real spring like. Ernest went with Jerry to the funeral. Marion went up to see Gertrude and babies. Zebs daughter Ida daughter died last night.

21 Lovely fine day. Ernest went over with potatoes to H River. Young Peoples at LePage’s to-night.
22 Lovely day. Ernest went to Hunter River. Got up at 3 PM. Went over to Jerrys for a little while. Lowther kids, Woolner kids, Irene Wyand, and May and Alex up this evening. Irene stayed all night.
23 Sun. Lovely fine day. Thawing. Dad and I went down to see Bob McKenzie in afternoon.
