11 Lovely morning. Thanksgiving Sunday. Blanche here for dinner. Went to New Glasgow with the Fyfe boys. Anna to be operated on in the morning.
12 Cold snowing and raining most of the day. They operated on Anna this morning. A growth in the neck of bladder. Sadie (Art Simpson’s wife) very low. The girls went over to Mr. Bishops to-night.
13 Finer to-night and all day. Anita went back to Town this afternoon. May and Alec up this evening. Anna fair but pretty sick. Mrs Art Simpson a little better.
14 Washed, lovely day. Myrons up for their mackerel. Rally service repeated at night.
15 Lovely day, mild. Went to Town with Alecs & Jennie’s. Saw Anna, she’s very sick. Saw Nan.
16 Miserable day, cold and dirty.

17 Marion in bed all day and I had a very bad spell with my stomach. Feeling pretty rotten. Pouring rain at night.
18 Fine. Dad went up to Bay View for Mother. Peggy & I pretty miserable.
19 Feeling a little better. Shower at night at Wesley’s for Nellie McCoubrey. Poured rain.
20 Lovely morning but blowing hard. Dad & I went up to Bay View for clams. Tide high. Called at Mr Simpsons. Irene went to S. Side hospital.
21 Fine day. Washed. Went to Laigh Warrens to Institute meeting at night and was put in Pres. Worse luck.
22 Lovely morning and big snow storm at night. The 1st District Convention met in Mayfield Hall of the Womens Institute. Had supper at Frank Houstons.
23 Lovely day. Ground white. Keith took Marion to Emerald. She went to Tryon.
24 Lovely day again, quite cold. Not feeling good at all. Stomach bad.
25 Lovely morning early but snowed a little all day. United Church to-night. Dad & PJ went.
