noon. Irene here over night. Mr Armstrong preached in B. Church at night. Albert not well.
7 Didn’t wash to-day. Looked like rain but cleared off. Quite cool at night. Ernest & I went down to Alberts. He is very miserable.
8 Lovely day. Washed. Ernest & Marion went to play at Stanley at night. Bad attack of indigestion.
9 Perfect day. Sowed wheat. Very warm in afternoon. Tried trout but they wouldn’t bite. Marion went to Town to hear Jack Miner.
10 Lovely day all day. Marion came home. Mr Saint, Fuller man here to dinner. Albert Kayes Syrian here in afternoon. Play at New Glasgow to-night Jimmy Jousons Job[?]. Albert a little better.

11 Lovely day very very warm. Keith harrowing below pond. Artie Clark lectured in hall at night. K. got seventeen beauty trout.
12 Cooler too-day and foggy. Chickens hatching. Serving all day. Tired to-night.
13 Cold and misty and poured rain and snow and everything dirty. Headache all day. Cecil & Leona down to supper. Irene & Blanche here. 75 chickens out.

got 50 white chicks from town, sold 30 to Mrs Gordon Houston. Dad & I down to see Albert at night.
15 Lovely day but wind keeps cool. Ernest cutting sets. Marion cleaned front room. Fussing with chickens most of the day. Tired at night.
16 Lovely and bright but wind feels like ice. Girls washed. Anna got 16 baby chicks and 3 settings of eggs. Bed early
17 Fine but cold. Went over to Jerrys in afternoon and Dad and I went to Creek at night. Mr & Mrs Bruce out to Jerrys. Albert McNeill went to PE Island Hospital. Louise Stevenson very sick.
18 Foggy and cool. Having a hard time to save the white chickens. Cutting sets. Keith harrowing and sowing. Girls went to John Fs. K to Harold.
19 Fine. Finished sowing grain. Lent out my green gingham. Anita rolling all day below pond. Practice at Wyands at night. Anna & I went to Alberts for a little while. Albert was operated on to-day. Louise Stevenson a little better.
20 Lovely warm day. Preaching in afternoon B Church. XYZ.
21 In bed. Ernest spreading fertilizer. Girls washed.
22 Finished fertilizer. Girls gardening. In bed.
