at night for Juniors. Anita went up to hall with Dad. They put up a stove in dressing room.
21 Drifting all day and getting colder. Rather busy. Hockey game at night. New Glasgow & Cavendish 10-1. Gave the bunch lunch here of course but of course I had to double up with indigestion.
22 8B. Very cold all day but calm. Ernest & I went to Jerrys at night to practice. Very tired. Carnival at rink. Dad and Anita went up to Stanley to see Dr. Fleming but he wasn’t home.
23 Milder and blowing very hard at night and pouring rain. I spent the afternoon at Freds was down to see the hall.
24 Big thaw. Not feeling well at all. Ernest working at Hall. Group at Mrs Paynters. No one went from here. Girls tired.
25 Was very cold and blowing hard. Juniors practice in hall. Lorraine stayed up with Marjorie.
26 Fine but bitter cold and blowing so hard. Called off the preaching service in afternoon. United church in afternoon. Not feeling well all day and very sick all night. Gall stone.

27 Had Dr. Fleming down and he gave me a lot of dope. Roads very wild and icy. Mrs. Will Green fell that night and broke her wrist. Anna came over this afternoon and Ernest stayed with them to

28 Feeling pretty good, no pain but very sore. Keith hauling potatoes to H. River. Froze some. pretty frosty.
29 Lovely fine day. Feeling awfully mean all day. Ernest at Hall. The community are papering it and cleaning it.
Mar 1st Fine, blowing hard from SE. Keith went to H. River. Again. Ernest and Anita at the hall.
Ernest still at hall. Girls very tired to-night and discouraged. Still in bed until evening.
2 Lovely day. Ernest and Jerry went to funeral at Brackley Point. Dr Fleming down. Feeling better got up in evening again.
3 Snowed a little in morning. Keith went to Hunter River after an early dinner. He bust his lip at a hockey game at night. Play practice went great at night.
4 Sunday a lovely day. Ernest & I went up to see Gertrude and down to Jerrys for a little while. Very tired when I came home. Jackson preached at night.
5 Snowed very thick for awhile this morning but cleared up grand around noon and to-night is perfect almost full moon. Fairly frosty. Girls at practice.
