3 6° Below. Got a letter from Aunt Sadie. She is keeping pretty well. Group at Jerry’s to-night. Feeling bum.
4 Milder to-day and raining at night. Ernest took me over to Jerry’s. Pretty tired when I got home.
5 Lovely day. Got up at noon. Preaching in United Church this afternoon. Dad went up to see Darnley Wrote to Mima.
6 Lovely day. Dad at Darnley’s last night. Carnival at night.
7 Fine. Had Dr. Fleming overhaul me. Practice for senior play at night.
8 Perfect day. Anna Marion Jerry Keith went to Town to see picture Ben Hur.
9 Rather blustery. Marion got teeth out at Hunter River and feeling pretty mean. Gums bleeding badly. Choir practice at Wesley’s.
10 Rather stirring time for awhile. Marions gums still bleeding very bad in morning. Laddie was sick yesterday and I had a severe attack of indigestion. Got Anna over but better before long.

11 Still cold wind from North. In bed most of day. Practice here to-night. Marion feeling better. Fred & Hester down to-night.
12 Fine. Thrya here last night and all day. Took big dose castoria for indigestion.

13 Lovely day. Feeling so much better to-day. Ernest working at hall. J. Practice at Jerrys. Frosty to-night. New calf.
14 Still fine and much milder. Ernest at hall. Doctor Warburton funeral this AM. S. play practice at Jerry’s to-night and I went.
15 Very mild. Poured rain in afternoon. Annual Egg Circle meeting this afternoon but it rained too hard for Ernest to go. We went to Alberts and stayed for supper.
16 Still mild, road bad. Froze in afternoon. Ernest and I went up to see Darnley. I did not see him. Very poorly.
17 Lovely fine day. Keith at Hunter River to-day grading potatoes. Marion very miserable this week. Group at Austins.
18 Darnley died at 2 AM. Ernest at cemetery. Quite a thick snow storm in evening. Keith got home. Anna here to supper.

19 Drifting and colder but bright and sunny in afternoon. Funeral at 1:30. Very large. Mr Jackson and Masons officiated. Cecil and Leona down at night.
