have charge of ranch. Tired to-night.
1 Lovely fine day. Quite a number at shore. Alvin Webb and Miss Diamond came at supper time and took us for a drive. My first car ride. Have coughed a lot.
2 Fine and very hot. Anita varnished hall and big room. Marion ironed. Feeling better. [?] Jelly, wife son etc here to tea. Everybody tired.
3 Fine again and hot. Everything growing good now since the rain. Had another car ride to-night with Ern MacNeills down to shore. Everyone tired to-night.

4 Fine and warm. Rained at night. Ernest went out to town in AM and to O’Leary at night with Gordons. Harold McKee took them up. Everybody tired and half sick. Lorraine came out from Town with Gordons.
5 Fine and cooler. Ellice came over from S.S and stayed until after church. Dad got home about 9:30. Large funeral. Communion Sunday at New Glasgow in church. Big crowd at shore.
6 Fine blowing hard. Cecil took me to Rustico for a drive and in afternoon I went with Ernest hunting for a girl. Girls did big washing. Everybody tired to-night.

7 Raining a little in AM and quite a shower in evening. Pauline went to Tyne Valley with Mr & Mrs Bishop. Ernest & I were girl hunting. Miss Gibson & Miss Sabian from Halifax came to board.
8 Misty and rained quite a lot to-day. Ernest helping Ham with fence. Marion working in garden.
9 Miss Gibson & Sabian left to-day. They found it too quiet. Still damp and very warm.
10 Very hot. Girls fixing up rooms. Camp fire at night at shore YPS.
11 Very very hot. 90 after dinner. Mr & Mrs Logan came. Very nice people. Adelaide here in afternoon. Very tired at night. Mission Band Picnic at shore.
12 Raining most of the day but has cleared up. Cooler at night. Everybody went to church except Marion & me. Willie and May McKendrick here to dinner. Not very well.
13 Lovely fine day. Girls washed. The Hills and Miss Fraser came. Jamie & Everett Wedlock and Irene here in evening.
14 Fine in AM but poured rain in afternoon. Edgar here white washing. Feeling better. Everybody
