June 1st Marion sick at her stomach. I didn’t do much. Mother better again. In garden all afternoon in the rain. Set out the head lettuce.

2 Marion still miserable. Miss Woolner, Arthur, Helen, and Miriam up for dahlia bulbs. Up for awhile this evening. Not very strong.
3 Holiday. Got out to the couch outdoors in afternoon. Mrs Wright here to see about board.
4 Lovely day again. Margaret brought Harriet for a little while this afternoon. Girls working in garden. Ernest has mangles in.
5 Lovely day. Ernest planted part of the beans in field. Had Mrs Isaac Carter and a Quebec car here and Mrs Charles Wyand & Ella after tea. Mr Wallace Scantlebury gave a description of his trip abroad to the church at YPS. Wind cold. Out all day.
6 Raining this AM but cleared up but oh so cold. Girls trying to get the flower beds work up. Got up about 3 PM. Ernest fencing.
7 Fine but cold. Mother came down to-day. Arthur Woolner up this afternoon. Anita went to Lowthers for tea. Song service in church to-night.
8 Fine but cool wind. Sun lovely. Out nearly all day. Ernest fencing. Girls washing. Went up for clams at night & to the Dr for medicine.

9 Fine but the wind cool. Out this afternoon. Letters from Keith & Mrs Bonnell. Ernest putting out manure for spuds. Clam bake at shore.
10 Cloudy and rained a little. Up since 9:30. Girls house cleaning and Margaret & Annie came over to cut sets.
11 Fine. I was a little too smart. Went down to the cottage and tramped around quite a lot. Made a pudding for dinner and pancakes for supper, and had a drive over to Hams. All in.
12 Raining and damp foggy all day. Wilbur planted potatoes. Stayed in bed till supper time. Feeling mean.
13 Finer in afternoon. Very foggy in AM. Got up about three in the afternoon and Ernest took me over to Jerrys. Got weighed 125 lbs. Ernest sowed barley. The last except turnips.

14 Lovely fine day and warmer. Out most of the day. Good many cars at shore. Preaching to-night Baptist church. Had supper outdoors. Margaret here for dinner.
15 Washed. Marion sick. Fine day and nothing new.
