18 Up to Drs in morning for medicine, not doing much of anything, are we tired? Dad & I to school in evening planting flowers & trees. Mrs Wyand out. Mack here in after.
19 Washed, one heck of a day its blowing, so we didn’t put clothes out. Dad sowing grain. Nothing new. Mother keeping better.
20 Lovely hot day. M & I in garden all day. Planted beans & carrots, Dad got hay from Jerry. M & I to Rustico at night.
21 Nice day tore paper off front room, Dad sawing, Ham helping harrow. Mother better. Mr & Mrs Quigley over tonight. Lowther girl home from PWC. First codfish of the season.
22 M & I papering front room. Mrs Woolner Art & Lewis up tonight. YPS social in classroom. Good time meeting and are we tired?
23 Some day! Finished papering, scrubbed and did everything we were supposed to do I think. Jim & Lewis here in afternoon, Mrs. Fred, Elmer & Margaret here to-night. Dad to Mayfield.
24 What a day of rest. Church & SS in morning. Lorne & Mrs MacNeil up for awhile. Mr Bishop and Wesley after supper and Annie. Mother sitting up for few minutes for the first. Leaves are all out lovely and some grain up.

25 Lovely day. Girls washed. Mrs Webster here in afternoon and Mrs Tennis in evening. French kiddies here.
26 Rained. Myron & Elaine came up from Tryon and were here in evening. Sat up for a while in evening.
27 Fine in morning. Girls in garden all day and went to choir practice at night. Up and out doors for about four hours. Ham here this evening.

28 Fine day. Waines birthday. Elaine and Leona and five kids here all day. Anna & Mable & Frances here for supper and we are tired. Mother up and feeling fair.
29 I went to PWC Convocation with Lowthers. Nice time. Marion in garden. Mr Bishop took Waine & me to YPS in Rustico. Thunder and lightning to-night.
30 Dad & Pauline went to Hunter River. Raining in morning. Did a lot of Saturdays work. Lorraine at Austins at night. Keith Ruth & Reg here to-night and Lowther girls over. Everybody tired! Mother quite sick to-night. High fever etc.
31 Sort of a hectic day. SS in morning. B church in afternoon. Reg took us to Rustico to church at night. Mr Quigleys here, Reuels and Lowther girls to supper.
