16  all right. Mac here collecting for Hospital.

 

17  Warm. in bed all day. Too sick to move. Ernest on telephone line. Young Peoples started again. XYZ

 

18  Fine. Anita came home with Upton. Pretty good to have her. Keith went to Town with Howard for the girls.

 

19  Still in bed most of day. Much colder. Mrs Wyand called. Church in afternoon. Anita went back this evening with Howard.

 

20  Fine AM but came up cloudy and cold. Ernest out on phone line. Keith hauling manure. Marion & I not doing much. Peggy went to Rustico this evening with Mrs B to a practice at Institute.

 

21  Washed. Marion went to Town with Mr & Mrs Bishop. Wind cold. Play practice in Hall at night.

 

22  Fine but very cold. Snow in Western Canada. Keith ploughing. Dad & I went to Alex’s in evening.

 

23  Very heavy frost this morning but a lovely day. Went up to Mother’s in afternoon. Tired.

 

24  Lovely day, not very cold. Terrible headache in AM. Took telephone message

24  over to Ellice. Mrs David Lowther died this AM.

 

25  Cloudy and looks like a storm. Elmer Isobel and Dorothy came down in afternoon and took our girls and went to Town to get a new glass in his car door. Pouring rain to-night.

 

26  Quite a storm. Tank in cellar full. Wind north east and driving rain all day. Sent word to O’Leary that the youngsters would not go home to-night.

 

27  Showery in AM. Elmer left for home about 8. 20. Isobel stayed. Finer to-night quite cool. Play practice in Hall.

 

28  Washed to-day but not very drying. Play at Clifton tonight. Eyes of Love. Ceci has taken our bunch up and Isobel.

 

29  Fine. rained at night. Practice at Hall at night for Halloween social. Keith & Isobel went to Rustico.

 

30  Rained nearly all day. At the hall in afternoon decorating. Quite warm. Ernest has bad cold.
