1 Fine. Bob and Jennie up in afternoon to tea. Hester finished picking cranberries. Dad PJ and I went down to Alberts in evening.
2 Another lovely day but white frost this AM. Churned and baked and E put up little stove in front room.
6 Not much happened in the last few days. Ernest & Keith each gave Ham a days help at his spuds. I was sick for two days and not very good yet. Very high wind yesterday and Austin Hogan’s house burnt down. Keith went to Montague & Georgetown with Howard Ling to a Young Peoples convention and to-day went with Mr. Bishop to Malpeque. Got letter from Anita and Ms Pankey. Aunt Mayme a little better.
7 Fine. Ernest working at hall. Keith not feeling well.
8 Lovely day. Ernest helped Ham finish his spuds. Elmer down this evening and we had quite a talk. Shower for Nellie Bernard at EC LePages.
9 Fine but cloudy. Cleared up in evening and a gorgeous night.
10 Fine day. Orange Lodge had chicken
supper in Hall. Made about $63.00. Tired.
11 Mrs Wm Graham died this morning at 4 o’clock. The girls came home from O’Leary. Willie and May here for dinner. Keith went to Town with them. Helping Austins with potatoes.

12 Fine. Alvin and Hattie Webb and Angus McKenzie came from O’Leary. Communion service in morning. Very warm.
13 Another very hot day. Funeral in afternoon. Nearly melted. Hospital Campaign to-night.
14 Lovely in morning but cooler to-night and wind northeast and bleak. Busy getting ready for Institute. Mort Williams very low.
15 Keith at mangles. Dad on telephone line with Clarence Stewart. Institute here at night. Peggy feeling a little better. Had a good big meeting. Raining for first time in over four weeks.
16 Raining a little. Stanley Play went to Cornwall and I went along too. Had rained a lot the other side of Hunter River but we got there and got home
