Piers. Also cards from Bonnells and Flemings. Amos here for the day grading potatoes.
Mild but strong chilly wind. Spent the day tying up parcels and addressing cards. Baptist service in afternoon but not many there. Roads something terrible. Had a grand evening listening to radio.
Mild in morning, but turned much colder. Girls terribly busy with costumes. Play practice at night. Elmer and Eric took the girls but I stayed to home and made costumes for the kids. Mr Pat managed to be at practice for about half an hour. Cards and parcels galore.
Cold but a beautiful clear day. Marguerite here having a white dress made. Dad shipped potatoes @ 72c. Mary, Marg. Pauline Anna & I decorated Hall in afternoon. Good crowd out at night and things went off fairly well. Terribly tired but relieved. More parcels and cards. Cummings, father & daughter killed near HR.
Snowing and cold. Dad started for town early. We girls slept in until after nine. What would Dad say! Ham here doing barn work. Practice at Church at night. Elmer & Eric called. Arthur came up on the

train along with Annie and Edward. Was home when we got home. Ham & I got tree.
Quite cold. Ham over before we were up. Dad at home about 11:00 AM and brought the box of books. 45 this year! Arthur and & walked in to the store in afternoon. Pauline skating on pond at night but I felt more comfortable by the fire.
Beautiful clean cold morning. Santa was more than good to us. Usual excitement of course – especially with the guitar! We kids went skating in the afternoon, Annie and Edward over too. Reg over with guitar in evening, Neta over at Lowthers & in to Wyands. Bobby had a car.
Cold with just a bit of snow. Not feeling so good with a rotten cold. Rather a busy day getting ready for “Nativity”. Arthur got Lowell to take him to HR for my present – and such a one! A seventeen piece toilet set! Ethel & the girls at church in afternoon & E here for supper. The play was a huge success Herbert, John, Margaret, Keith & kids up in the evening. Bobby had a car again.
Very mild and rain. Had a very quiet sleepy day and evening. Was supposed to be a U. service but no one went from here.
