First wild strawberries for tea
24 Perfect day. Busy. Mrs. Albert up in afternoon & Mrs Bonnell in evening. Quite warm. Wonderful growth. Corn, beans etc up good in field.
25 Fine day. Washed. Oliver & Mrs. McNeill called here with Mr and Mrs Wall from California. School meeting and Miss Stavert has school again.
26 Cool and fog clouds. Very foggy to-night. Anita went to town on bus to Institute Convention. Had two New York ladies for lunch. Mary and Will Graham here this evening. Jean went to McCoubreys.
27 Very fine east wind, hot sun. Three girls from Ohio arrived this afternoon. Miss Kellie and Marion Crawford. Anita got home with Perley’s and Aunt May called. They were with Allie Coughlin.
28 Showery. Anita at shore helping Mrs. Wyand with luncheon for Federated Women Delegates who have been in Burial[?] Convention in Charlottetown. YPS at Church.
Mothers 73 Birthday
29 Lovely day. Everyone very busy. Cleaned cottage. Dr. John McNeill and Mary and Marnie and Aunt Emily here to dinner. The Ohio girls left this afternoon. Ernest and Lorraine went to see Rustico trustees.
30 Jolly thunderstorm this morning and again this afternoon. Leander Reids barn burned this morning. Dolph Flemings barn struck too. Visited Mr

30 Bonnell this evening.
July 1 Cold day but very fine. Washed and quilting. Pauline went to Jamie Ls to go to town with Reuel. YP choir practice here and play practice. Looks as tho Lorraine isn’t going to get a school.
2 Lovely day. YPS picnic Malpeque. Nan stayed home. Lorraine and Reggie went. I went to town with Mr Bonnell & Mrs. B. Dad went in the morning to lumber for the Cottage. Everyone tired in evening. Ham here. Mrs. Casely broke her arm
3 Another lovely day. Sewing. Girls got some more strawberries. Put oilcloth on sewing room floor. Family gone to Wilmot to put on the play. Didn’t make much.

4 Very warm day and blowing a gale. Jean Caseley came last night. Lorraine and Anita went to see the show Anne of Green Gables. Mr. Bonnell took them in. Practice here tonight.
5 Very hot day until about 3.30 when wind came East. Had a nice shower and everything fresh and growing. Sewing all day. YPS at R Church.
6 Cold as Greenland. Busy. Jean went home to-night by bus. Everyone tired.
7 Nice day but still cool. Mother down this afternoon. Reuels called. Baptist church to-night. Quiet day.
8 Cool. Good day for working. Got wash out early. Jean came down on bus. Sewing. Miss Gilken came.
