Pauline went with Miss Stavert to S. Side on the bus. Thunder & lightening at night.
28 A few showers and warmer. Busy getting ready for play which came off with a bang. Twin calves at barn. Dionne Quintuplets 1 year old. Lorraine 18 years old to-day. For Fifty Thousand and a String of Pearls took in $41.85C

29 First warm rain this year and Ernest got the cows out to pasture for the first this year. E. working at room ceiling. Girls went fishing to-night got 1 trout, 2 perch, and a dozen or more gaspereau.
30 Fine. Put on play at Clifton. Made $15.00.
31 Finer all day and warm and had a heavy rain at night. Reuel and Enid came out for the YPS meeting and it rained so hard there just wasn’t any meeting and I went back to town with them.
June 1st Lovely day in town. Rested in AM and in afternoon called on Dr. Vincent and he took me to see Irving. Saw Eddie Cantor in some fool picture at night.
2 Enid and I went to Baptist church in AM and I went alone at night. Two good sermons. Communion service at night. We drove out to Stanhope Beach in afternoon.
3 Lovely warm day. Enid washed. Came out to James L’s after dinner and Enid and Lucy brought

me home. Play in Harrington to-night. Mrs. Wyand here. They had a big crowd at Harrington and made $15.00.

4 Very warm day and wonderful growth. Leaves out good but apple trees slow. Planted cucumbers and Kentucky beans to-day. Ernest putting out manure for garden stuff.
5 Very warm in the morning. Girls, or rather Lorraine, painted the kitchen ceiling and Anita put the glue on the big room ceiling and shellac on moulding. Ernest working at manure. I went over to see John F in the evening. He isn’t very well.
6 A beautiful day and a busy one. Marion’s 28th birthday. A letter from Dorothy telling of her trips up to see Peggy. Three men here for dinner. Set out 60 dahlia bulbs. Play crowd gone to Milton. Irving sentenced two years.

8 Very warm day. Ernest putting out manure for potatoes. Nan in bed until afternoon. Everyone busy. Play at New Glasgow to-night. Made $11.00.

9 Very hot early. Reuels out to dinner and took us to Carleton. Anita and Lorraine went with Foster Alvin, a Mr. Campbell and two Manderson girls here this evening.
10 Lovely day, washed. Cutting sets. Play at Fredericton to-night. Everyone tired. Had small crowd and dumb.
