18 Anita at manse hooking. Play practice at hall.
19 Splitting wood in field. Sawing wood at Austin’s in afternoon. Cemetery meeting. Ham & Milton here Lorraine & Anna at Manse hooking. Choir practice at Church.
20 Dirty misty day. David here. Clipped Laddy and cleared seed grain. Play practice in hall. Horrid road. Letter from Mother in Carleton. Margaret not very well.
21 Everybody lazy to-day. YPS. Easter service held this afternoon, terrible roads. Sadie & Ernie here to tea. Lowell & Edward here at night.
22 Sawing wood. Lowell, Edgar David & Alban here, Letter from Mother. Margaret some better. Play practice at night. Bobby brought a wagon.

23 Nice bright day though awfully cold – ice is packed in the Gulf again. Washed in the morning, also churned – did ironing in evening. Neta at the manse hooking in afternoon. Ham here
for dinner and supper. Letter from mother. She plans to come home Saturday. Dad on to Mayfield – meeting to go over the voters list.
24 In to Wyands to practice. Walked.
25 Quilted a quilt. Edgar here splitting wood.
26 YPS at Wyands. 33 there. Rustico bunch walked up. Nan at Manse hooking. Aquilla Rollings dropped dead this AM.

27 Well I came home from Carleton by way of Albany, Kensington and Hunter River and Dad brought me home over the worst road either of us have ever travelled on. Nearly dead at night. Play practice.
28 S. Raining. Funeral in afternoon. Ernest went to Cemetery. Mr. Quigley had charge. Baptist church at night. Robbie, David & Thelma spent evening here, came in from the rain. Mr. Quigley here for supper.
29 N.W. wind and bitter cold. Ernest cleaning out hot bed. Sewing a little. Still very tired. Cemetery meeting here in afternoon. Austin Graham has the job at the cemetery this year. Letter from Marion.
30 Wind SE Lovely fine morning but started raining after dinner and poured until on into the night. Play practice. Ice went out to-day. Elizabeth McLure very poorly. Took Clara Tennis Gallant to hospital. Car run from Stanley to Kensington. D’arcy Fleming broke his leg.
