9 Lovely morning and not frosty. Ernest and I went to Hope River after dinner, first to call on poor Charlotte Simpson and then to have tea at Simpson Bells. Snowing a little as we came home. Girls & Irving Green went to Stanley to Rink.
10 S. Lovely day again. Mr Paterson back from a visit to his people in N.S. and preached this AM. Mrs Stavert here to dinner & tea. Irving came down. Took Waine for a drive and they have all gone to New Glasgow to church.
11 Lovely bright day. Washed. Anita hooking. Ernest two trips to mill. Blustery at night.
12 0. Fine and cold. Ernest hauling lumber. We went down to Alec’s in evening. Blustery coming home. Letters from Ted and Mrs. Timmins.
13 Fine, bright and very cold. Nan hooking. Working at my quilt. Stiff neck. Nellie here this week. Valentine party at Jerrys. Big time. Hauptmann sentenced to the electric chair.

14 Very fine winter day. Stitching my ring quilt. YPS at Hamilton Lairds. Ham here this evening.
15 Raining most of day, foggy to-night. Girls have gone to choir practice at Wyands. Helping Nan with her mat to-day.
16 Finished mat to-day. Miserable cold nasty day. Girls went up for Emily to-night and Lorraine froze her face. Irving Green here and the new

17 S. Very fine morning, but clouded over and snowing a little to-night. Preaching in Baptist Church to-night and sing song afterwards at Webbs. Lowell here for supper.
18 Very fine day. Girls washed. Dance at Fred Clarkes at night. Big crowd, not much fun for some.
19 Still fine. The morning after the night before. Play crowd meeting here. Quilting Ring quilt.
20 Blustery in morning. Fine in evening. Choir practice at Olaf’s at night.
21 Very fine day tho twas rather blustery in AM. Hope River play at night, the Frozen Trail. Cleared $16.60 for Cavendish. Cold night.
22 Cold day. Finished quilt. Everyone tired. YPS at Paynters in Rustico. Pauline went with Reggie & Mabel but turned back at Olafs.
23 10B. grey cold day and bitter chill wind. Anita in bed until afternoon. Peggys letter came saying that Rev Ewan is resigning in Norval and that they are going to live in Toronto. Egg Circle directors meeting at Allen Wyands to-night. Snowing late.

24 S. Snowing and drifting this morning. North east wind came north and cleared. No one went to church. Quite cold. Lowell, Edward and Norman McFarlane here. Roads bad.
Wrote to Aunt Sadie & Mima in evening.
