1 30A. Fine in morning but blowing and drifting in afternoon Ernest Ellice & I went to see Amanda but the door was locked so we came back to Charlie Wyands. Skate on Pond at night and brown bread and beans at Webbs afterwards.
2 38A. and the nicest day for months. Girls finished a braided mat. That’s 7 since Christmas. Not feeling very spry. YPS at Will Simpsons at Mill. Dance all Geo McCoubreys
3 Mild to day, pouring rain all afternoon and tonight. Egg Circle meeting in afternoon adjourned. Little Bertha Lamont taken to S. Side Hospital this afternoon. Appendicitis.
4 36A. Very mild. Baptist preaching in afternoon. Mr Quigley called. Sing song at Jerrys. Neuritis, not feeling very good. Herb White has lock jaw.
5 50A. Rained hard all day. Stayed in bed all day.
6 56A today. Girls washed. Thawed very fast. Ernest took Earl a bag of potatoes. Girls went to Johnstons to night. Parcel from Dorothy.
7 40A and perhaps over. High wind. Ernest went to Mayfield and Rustico. YPS choir practice here to night. Up since noon.
8 42A. Lovely day. Ernest went to Kensington with potatoes 60c per bus Blues. Pork is 11c. Roads very pitchy in places. Ice good. Herb White died at 1 PM. Anita at Jerrys in afternoon. Marion & PJ at Manse in evening. CGIT meeting.
