5 10A. Quite frosty but fine day. Nearly everyone at the ice. Anna & Anita went down to Milton Greens this AM to help out. May quite sick. Drs there. Ham here to-night. Potatoes 50c at Kensington.
6 6B and 16B at Chester Woolners. Girls hooking. Not feeling very good. Men working at ice.
7 2B. Pretty cold night. Blowing hard and snowing some. Did not work at ice to-day. Ham here for supper.
8 4B. Very fine and heavy white frost. Went over to Ellices in the afternoon. Ernest sawing ice for Allen Wyand.
9 14B and 22B at Charlie Wyands. Very fine and not blowing hard. YPS at Ernest Dunnings at Stanley and our girls going with Geo and Mary Clarke. No ice to-day. 57 at YPS.
10 8B and blowing, moderated a little towards evening. Anita Ernest & I went down to Alex’s. Arm pretty sore.
11 10A in the morning and 20A to-night. United Church in the morning. The girls went down to Lornes after dinner. Snowing to-night and the girls didn’t go to Sing Song at Lewis Toombs.
12 30A. Lovely day. Girls washed in AM and we went down to see Mrs Hammond McKenzie in afternoon. Called in at Bobs and Marion stopped at Manse. Potatoes 60c at H River & Kensington.

13 Snowing some all day. Irene Simpson here to tea. Institute at Allen Wyands. Ernest and girls went. Rioting in France and Revolution in Austria.
14 Ash Wednesday. Howling snowstorm. Started to blow in morning. Calmed down at night. 2B zero. No mail.
15 Ham came home from Kensington. Chill wind. Girls finished no 2 hooked mat. Drifting and cold.
16 6B in morning and 16B at night. YPS at Lewis Toombs. Willie Johnson took our girls. Very calm at night. World Day of Prayer at manse in afternoon. Too cold for me to go.
17 14B here 20B at mill and 25B at Hunter River. Moderated by noon and Marion and PJ went into other CGIT girls to New Glasgow. Very cold again to-night. Vern Simpson stayed here all night.
18 Sunday. 10B. Girls went over for Ellice this morning. Mother not very well to-day. Mr Quigley preached in Baptist Church. Sing song at Manse to-night.
19 4B. Better to-day. Girls washed and Ernest finished thrashing in afternoon. Nellie went home with Earl to-night. Marion & Mrs. Paterson calling this afternoon. Lorne & Mary came up for the girls to go with the Wyands to-night.
20 Very foggy all day and snowing thick in evening. Irene gave school kids a party.
