1 6B. Sunday. Bright and frosty. United Church in AM. Keith & Anita went driving in afternoon. Elmer Jerry Pluck here in evening. Very fine but cold to-night.
2 8B. Bright and snappy. Wyand finished ice. Not doing much but keeping on fires. Started Lorraines cap.
3 Anita washed. Lovely day. Moderated in afternoon. Made cap for Lorraine. Lucy Woolner sick.
4 37 above this AM. Snowing a little this evening. Keith, Anita & Lorraine went to New Glasgow to Social evening.
5 Started another mat. Lovely day. Had planned to have a drive but did nothing. Word came that James Bentley was dead. Died at his daughters in Boston. Went to bed early.

6 Cold grey day. Young Peoples at Fenners. Pretty sick all day. Letter from Marion. XYZ.
7 Very cold. Will McCallum little boy Stavert terribly hurt in thrashing mill and died about midnight. Everybody feeling terrible.

8 6B. A grey bright but very cold. Very miserable to-day. Preaching at Jerrys in afternoon.
9 Lovely morning. Snowed in night and everything very beautiful. Keith and Anita

9 went to funeral. A little stronger to-day.
10 Very bad snow storm all day. No school and no mail.
11 Fine. A lot of snow down. About two feet on the level. Heavy sleet storm in Nova Scotia. Anita snowshoed over to Jerrys in afternoon.

12 Storming worse than ever to-day but not very frosty. Train got through to Borden this AM and from S Side to Town. No other train moving. No school. Roads terrible.

13 Lovely fine day. The men broke roads in AM and Ernest was at Jerrys butchering. Bobby got along after five o’clock with four days mail. Letters from Marion. Milder to-night. YPS met at Bob McKenzies.
14 Looks like a thaw this morning. Keith has started for Town. Rained all day and in evening. Mission Band in afternoon. No mail.
15 Sunday. Colder but roads impossible. No church services. Mr Bishop tried to get to New Glasgow but couldn’t. Headache dreary. Long lonely day.
16 Lovely day. Headache all day. Anita & Dad did a big washing. Anita over at Manse in afternoon. Keith walked home from Hunter River. Bad road. Bobby got along at 4:10 PM.
