24 Lovely fine day, warmer. Girls cleaned front room and hall and worked in garden. Set out lettuce and 83 cabbage plants. Play at Stanley, “My Dear Rose.”
25 Fine day but as cold as ever. All the family went to church. Francis here for the afternoon. Rained in night.
26 Last hatch of incubator 60 this time. Setting out lettuce plants in garden Girls in garden, all the afternoon. Marjorie and Thrya down.
27 Warmer to-day. Rained a little in AM. Busy. Girls in garden. Play Eyes of Love in Harrington to-night. Got home 12:10 AM. Big crowd. Made $47.50.
28 Wet day. Everybody tired. Made little pink dress for Lorraine. Everybody in bed early.
29 Cloudy until about 3:30 PM. Cleared up lovely and fine and the play crowd went to Tryon to-night. Herb Stewart up from Brackley. Youngsters & myself went over to John F’s and went to Crick with Ern & Winnie.

30 Wind south west to-day all day for the first time
for weeks. Ernest went to Hunter River for fertilizer. Girls and Keith got home about noon. Chickens hatching.
31 Fine. Sewing. Set out plants. Practice at night. Set out cabbage plants. Tommy Hiscott’s baby died, 2 weeks old.
June 1st Fine AM and rained hard in evening and all night. Preaching in afternoon.
2 Washed in AM. Ernest cutting sets. Gordons landed this evening. Play at Fredericton Got $31.00. Every one tired.
3 Fine very warm. Everybody tired this morning. Got a bag of gaspereau last night at the shore. Clam bake at Bay View to-night. First bunch of tourists for supper.
4 Very warm in forenoon. Thunder shower in afternoon. Girls transplanting out of hot bed and setting in dahlias. Cutting sets.
5 Sewing and Lydie in at Wyands. Put on play at Cavendish and took in 58 or 59 dollars. Everybody tired.

6 Fine and desperately hot all day. Cecil in Town and got a new car. Didn’t do much. Gordons went to Vernon after dinner.
