15 Fine. Everybody busy. Institute at Jerrys at night. Mrs Ben Woolner & Stewart called. I went to Institute but was very tired.
16 Papering the big room. Feel pretty mean all day. Ernest to H. River for fertilizer. Anna over this evening. Blowing a gale to-night.
17 A gale all day, so tiresome. Girls papered big room. K. harrowing. Tired to-night.
18 Stayed in bed until noon, went down to Mrs Alberts in afternoon & Mrs Bobs to a committee meeting at night. Bitter cold.
19 Raining in AM and to-night ground is white with snow. Mr. Armstrong preached in afternoon. Annie & Margaret Lowther & Blanche here to-night. Anita went up with Thyra.
20 Two inches of snow over everything as far as you can see. Stayed on all day in places. Wind still cold. Ernest & I went to Harolds called at Austins, Wyands, & Claude Somers. Anita Mureskoed the sewing room. Raining. Practice at night.
21 Cloudy all forenoon and cool Pouring rain to-night. No grain sowed yet. About 55 chickens out in incubator.
22 Fine but cool. Keith harrowed after tea.

22 Ernest set out some trees. Marion & Keith mostly Marion cleaned & Murescoed the back stair. Set incubator for the last time this year. Heavy white frost to-night.
23 Fine but wind cold all day. Sowed wheat & mixed feed, lettuce, parsley & onions. Had a drive to-night. Busy fussing with chickens.
24 Fine day. No one bothered up at all. Went over to Hunter River with Alex to the Road Back play. Very tired.
25 Very miserable, stomach bad after dinner. Very heavy thunder storm in afternoon. Ellice & Annie over in evening.
26 Just a lovely day but wind cool. Ernest went to Tryon with Cecil. Avalah & Annie here. Was on the couch all the afternoon in the sun.
27 Fine day. Marion washed. In bed most of day.
28 Lovely day, quite warm but wind east. Feeling a little bit better. Marion in bed. Anita busy. Jean Casely here to supper. Lorraine’s birthday. Ernest & I down the road in evening. Mr. Bonnell came.
Finished sowing all but 2 acres.
