17 Got letter from Anita and Maria. Will Webb very poorly.
18 Poured rain all forenoon. Marion feeling better. Went to Stanley to-night for a social.
19 Ernest & Keith at Jerrys working at potatoes. Washed & baked. Tired. Institute at night at Dolph Flemings.
20 Lovely day. Ernest & I went to Brackley Point. John F. McNeill home. Had a good day all day by our lonesome.

21 Lovely day. Rather tired and sleepy. Ernest and Keith at Milton Greens. Choir practice here to-night.
22 Another great day. Went down for cranberries. Gordon Webbs came this evening.
23 Just a perfect day. Reuels out brought Anita. Stayed till after dinner and went to shore then to Brookefield tp Geo Stetsons. Church at night.
24 Cloudy and rained some. Elaine & Myron came up for cranberries. Mr Lindsay and party here in afternoon. Practice at Wyands.
Sept & Oct 1928
25 Fine day and cooler, feels like frost to-night. Gordons went to O’Leary to-day. Marion picked tomatoes to-night 12 ½ bushels. Picked cucumbers.
26 Washed and ironed some. Terrible rain storm to-night.
27 Fine. Mary Stewart & Francis here in afternoon. Went up to Bay View at night.
28 Keith at JOs until it rained at noon. Practice here at night.
29 Fine but cold. Ernest plowing.
30 Fine, cold. Alvin Webb and Mrs & Misses Haywood here for tea. Keith went away with Blair Rollings. Marion and I to Bay View tonight.
Oct 1st Fine day. Keith at Len Wyands at spuds. Dad ploughing. Marion & Lorraine at cranberries.
2 Lovely day. Was at Jerrys all day. Anna very sick, terrible pain in the head. Zella Clarke came out and I brought her over here. Practice at night.
3 Lovely day. Zella & PJ and I called at Mother’s. Cedric & Ernest Clarkes. Zella spoke in church at night.
