Alex up for a few minutes this evening. Keith and Jerry went to Hunter River to meet friends of Anna’s. Miss McLean and McN[?]. Took wagons.
4 Perfect spring day. Gulf looks like a day in July. Not a sign of ice. Took the carriage up to Hall to-night. Had a good practice only forgetting my hand badly cut with with an old broken cup ‘twould have been tip-top.
5 59A. Just a wonderful day. Sitting out on saw most of afternoon. Just a delightful warm wind. Snow almost gone. Very mild to-night, looks like rain. Thyra here.
6 60A in the forenoon but wind came around to north east and east and much cooler. Practice at night. Terrible roads. Sawing wood all day. Engine did not work good so didn’t finish. Tired oh boy.
7 60. Lovely fine day. Marion in bed. Adelaide here to tea and stayed all night. Ernest went down to Alberts to telephone meeting.
8 68. Easter Sunday. Very very warm for time of year. Mr Armstrong walked over and Keith took him home at night.
9 Fine morning. Snow flurries through the day. Anita and Dad washed. Marion got up this evening. Practice at night. Little pigs arrived to-day.

10 Lovely fine day but wind cold. Keith at Jerrys sawing wood. Went over to John F’s in afternoon. Walked over Ernest brought me home.
11 Fine day but cool, east wind. Anita not extra well to-day. Practice at Alberts to-night. Marion fell and hurt her knee.
12 Just a miserable april day, cold east wind and raining all day. No mail. The men clipped three of the horses.
13 Cleared up lovely to-day. I drove in to Harold Toombs in afternoon. Mrs McCoubrey has pneumonia. Group had chicken supper here at night.
14 Lovely day. Girls tired. Marions knee pretty sore. Went to Annas in afternoon, hooking a little. Practice in hall at night. Mary Clarke died
Mary Clark died in Kensington.
15 On my back all day. Rained in night. K. and Anita went to N. Glasgow at night.
16 Wind very cold to-day, froze hard and blowing a gale all day. Feeling a little better but nothing extra. Practice at night.
17 Wind still bitter cold. Mary Clark buried this afternoon. Keith got his eggs from Nova Scotia.
18 Fine but cold. Moved Keiths chicken house and ploughed the lane. Girls went to Institute at Ben Woolners.
