28 Anita washed. Froze clean and nice. Ernest & John Laird went to Mayfield.
29 XYZ with a vengeance. Ernest & Keith butchered. Snowing and raining and everything that is dirty. William Brown of Margate buried to-day. Fred and Hester here up to funeral. He was 89.
30 Rained a good deal and oh the mud. Marion and Anita went to Rustico for Marion’s coat. Feeling very mean.
Dec 1 Blowing a gale. Ernest killed sow that Ham had spoken for. Good many in paying taxes. Freezing to-night.
2 Froze hard. Ernest went to H River with pork. Cold day. Group at Hamilton Lairds. Snow storm at night.
3 Fine, mild, but froze at night. Choir practice at Jerry’s. Holden McLure blew off some steam. Emily Platts here all night.
4 Fine but quite cold. Preaching in afternoon. Keith took Emily to New Glasgow and home. Dad & I went to Alberts.
5 Snowing all day. Wrote to Mima.
6 Lovely day, good sleighing. Washed. Marion went to McLure’s for her music lesson.

6 Stirling and Thrya here to-night. Missionary meeting at McLures.
7 Lovely fine day. Men working in woods. Practice at Jerry’s all night.
8 Cloudy all day and pouring rain to-night. Had a pudding for dinner for [?] & [?] birthdays.
9 Snow nearly all gone. Anita up at Cecil’s all day. Group there to-night. Cecil to Clifton and down here with his car.
10 Fine blowing hard and cold. 10 above zero here this morning. Sawed wood. Practice at Wyands at night. Thrya here all night. Snowed a little.
11 Sunday. Fine day. Home all day.
12 Rather snowy and turned soft. Froze at night. Practice at Jerrys.
13 School closed on account of itch. House cleaning. Institute at night at Ben Woolners. Ivan Duvar dead.
14 Grey day. Washed. Tired to-night.
15 Blustery morning. Ernest & I went to Town. I had supper at Zion Church. Dad at the Y.
16 Came home to-night. Quite a little snow on some of the hills. Had dinner to-day at
