1st Not too bad a day. Feeling rather blue. Ellice over in afternoon and Jean & Wesley up this evening. Mr. Quigley in after church.
2 Lovely morning. Very bright rainbows. Anna came over before dinner. Mr Bishop took me to S Side to Hospital. Had operation on the 7th and came home the 28th. Not feeling good. Too much fever.
Dec 8 Keiths birthday. Girls sent him a box of eats yesterday. Wretched storm to-day. Kids came home from school early. Roads not very good.
9 Lovely morning, feeling pretty good. Girls washing. Ernest went to Stanley with cream. No temperature today. Got out to Kitchen for a while. No mail
10 Fine. Ernest helping Jerry butcher in afternoon. Nannie down and Mrs Bishop and Mrs Fred here. Fever again.
11 Fine. Earl Simpson here working in woods. YPS at Ben Woolners. The four girls took Laddie in wood sleigh and went. Feeling better again.
12 Fine. Practice in Hall in afternoon for school concert. Mrs Dolph Fleming and Zeta here in morning. Not feeling good all day.
13 Lovely morning. Headache. Had a lot of company to-day. No fever. Ellice here all the afternoon.
14 Fine. No fever, no company. Snowing and rain at night. Concert practice at Hall.

Falconwood asylum burnt to the ground and some of the patients in it last night.
15 killing chickens. Girls cut out Lorraines dress. Feeling fair. No fever.
16 4A in Charlottetown. Pretty cold here. Stayed in bed all day. Moderated in evening. Ernest took Anita to Ben Woolners to Institute. Lorraine and Gertrude over at Jerrys making costumes for concert.
17 Lovely day, not so cold. Ernest took chickens to Harold and was to see Malcom. Up and dressed this AM.
18 Stormy and cold. No YPS Practice at Hall. A terrible war. Snowing at night.
19 Quite a lot of snow down now. Practice in Hall. Fever all day. Snowing in evening.
20 Storming and blowing. Ernest and all of girls except Peggy went to church. Not feeling very good. Pretty rough all day. No company.
21 Fine and milder to-night. School concert a success but a small crowd. Quiet evening after they all got away early. Earl and Peter here.
22 A lovely morning. Girls house cleaning
23 Miserable day. Raining. School closed. Gertrude went to Hunter River with Bobby. Wilbur Willis arrived too late. Lorne and Mary up in evening.
