30 Went to church at night United.
31 Fine. Ernest cutting below the road. Extra busy and extra tired at night. Girls serving.
Sept 1st Lots of shooting this AM. Stayed in bed all day until afternoon. Eaton order came. Started Pauline’s sweater. Fine to-night but very heavy dew.
2 Fine in AM but raining by noon. Nurse at school. The Misses Norris left this AM. In cottage most of day. Peggy miserable.
3 Rained nearly all day. Terrible harvest weather. Feeling rotten, feverish, etc Everybody blue.
4 Fine but cleared up in evening. Wrote to Lottie Simpson & Mrs Pankey. YPS here in evening and Dad & I in cottage. Carl Woolner busted up but not hurt.
5 Lovely day but too calm and warm and east wind. Looks like rain. Anita getting ready to go up West to-morrow.
6 Lovely AM. Ernest & I went to shore for an hour or more. Ernest had a dip. Will Simpson from Arlington came down for the day. Wanda stayed. Everybody so glad about the new boy at Olaf Stevensons. Pouring rain to-night.

7 Lovely fine day. Grain drying nicely. Girls washed. in cottage most of day.
8 Rained hard most of the day. Came down in torrents in afternoon. Marion and Anita went with Mr Bishops to Town to hear and see the Passion Play. Lorraine & Wanda went for a swim.
9 A little finer to-day and blowing hard. Ida McKenzie and Stephen Huestis married in Rustico Church. Marion down with Mr Bishop to decorate. Lorraine & Wanda have gone with Blanche Anita & Gertrude with Chalmers Laird & Harold Buntain.
10 Fairly fine. The men got some grain in three loads. Fevered up again to-day and feeling pretty mean at night. Marion and Anita went up to see Gertrude Lamont.
11 Fine this AM but clouding over. Raining hard by noon. Had shower for Lorne and Mary. Fine at night and blowing hard.
12 Fine and the men hauled grain all day. Peter Murray here. Lovely and warm this afternoon. Out all day. Kids had marshmallow roast behind cottage. Avalah here.
13 Gorgeous day. Wilbur & Horace Willis & Eleanor Ackland came up before dinner. Communion Service in United Church.
