18 A perfectly lovely day after the terrible rains of Saturday & Sunday. Washed in morning and a lot of people around all afternoon. Mr Gillings Mr Hayden and Myrons in this evening.
19 Another perfect day and a big big wash. Marion and Harold Meech arrived in the afternoon and are here all night.
20 A nice day and Mr & Mrs Bert Woods and Ken arrived about 7 PM. Everyone very tired to-night.
21 Another nice day but cool to-night. A lot around to-day. Miss Flower left this AM.
22 23 Just busy days and fine. The Woods family went to the Paterson Cottage and we are by ourselves. The girls went to Town at night. All very tired.
24 S. The first fine Sunday since July 20th. A lot of people around in afternoon and the Air Force boys were out. Everyone ready to drop at night.
25 Another fine day tho threatening rain in afternoon. Had a bridal party for lunch. MacDonalds from Glenfinnan. Said good bye to the Brintons for another year. Eric Bell in this evening.
26 Rained all the forenoon and not so many around. We went to Town at night the guests of the Air Force at Old Spain and a show at Prince Edward.
27 Everyone a bit weary and the girls had 60 in for meals. YS Mens picnic at the shore. Terrible gale all night and so cold.
