5 Still blowing and cold. Ellice here for dinner. Pauline and Ernest went to church.
6 Anita came home from Keiths at 1:30 AM with Foster Sellers. Allison and Ruby Profit here to tea. Also the Kiddies Betty & Bruce.
Nellie came back for awhile.
7 Very nasty day. Fine enough in morning but snowed and hail & rain in afternoon & evening. Ernest killed a porker for the barrel. Miss Tyherll[?] & Miss Crow came to Manse in connection with CGIT work. Night too stormy for meeting.
8 Still grey and cool. Ernest ploughing in afternoon. Some people haven’t turnips out yet. Nellie back again. Scarlet fever in several places in Mayfield.

9 Lovely morning, turned chilly. Killing geese for Armistice Supper.
10 Started to snow about 9 AM. Roy Toombs’ went to Town for Dorothy and Lorraine. Not cold to-night, ground white. Got 10c per pound for Geese. They averaged ten lbs.
11 Started to snow about 9 AM. Roy Toombs went to Town with car for the girls. Quite wintry. The Wyands here to practice and Eric Bell here for the evening.

12 dinner. No preaching. Quiet day. Baby girl arrived in SS Hospital to Rupert & Vera Simpson.
13 14A. Finer. Mr Paterson took Lady and our sleigh and took Lorraine to Hunter River. Ernest butchering at Freds.
14 Thaw to-day and snow about all gone at night. Rained hard in afternoon. Letter from Marion in Campbellton NB. In bed all day.
15 Fine day, not much snow in sight. Ernest and Clarence out on telephone line in forenoon. Banking house in afternoon. Anita feeling rotten. Institute at Hamilton Lairds to-night. Annual meeting.
16 14A. Mighty cold day but fine. Washed and sewing. Ernest at various jobs, banking house, etc. Harry Leard Crapaud killed on the 14th with the electric light plant.
17 10A. Fine and very cold. Ernest thrashing at Hams this afternoon. Alvah McCallum & Herb Craig here to tea. Mr Pickering and Miss Wordside to YPS at church. Anita to Austins to tea.
