27 Snowing most of the day, pouring rain to-night. Girls washed. Feeling better to-day. Keith at Wyands in AM.
28 Quite a bad snowstorm. Funeral in church this afternoon. Blowing a gale from NW. Letter from Mrs Stirling. Men killed beef this AM.
29 Lovely fine day. Pretty cold in morning. School examination. 19 visitors there. YPS at Jerrys. Art Woolner here all night. Fever.
30 Silver thaw in AM. Rained hard. Crowd all gone over to Austins for evening. Not much done to-day.
31 Blustery in morning. Fine in afternoon. Ellice over for dinner. United Church in afternoon. Up to dinner and until after 4 PM. Very cold to night and blowing hard.
Feb 1 Zero. Blowing a gale and very cold. Wilbur Clarke here in AM with Teachers Supplement. Lorraine & Marion taking mumps. Still very cold to-night.

Prince of Wales College burned to ground on Saturday morning Feb 6th.
Rustico Convent burned down morning of Feb 10th.
3 Ernest and Keith started in ice. Snowing in afternoon.
4 Lovely fine day, not very cold. Archie Warrens funeral in afternoon. Feeling pretty sick all day.

5 Snow storm. Lowell Wyand here thrashing. Lorraine in bed all day, quite miserable. Feeling better myself this afternoon. Letter from Aunt Sadie. No YPS to-night.
6 6A. Fine day all day. Keith took Gertrude to Hunter River and was waiting for Margaret. Prince of Wales College burned last night. Lorraine very sick.
7 Sunday. Marion and Lorraine both very sick but Lorraine is a little better than yesterday. Very fine day. B. Church in afternoon. Preston & Mrs Warren down. Mr Quigley and Margaret here to tea. Wilbur W. brought Gertrude up.
