12 YPS at Olaf Stevensons. Anita & Gertrude went to K.
13 Lovely fine mild day. Ernest took Pauline to H. River to dentist. Girls busy, cleaned up house etc. Up most of day. Congregational meeting in Manse to-night.
14 Sunday. Fine but colder. Keith drove Margaret to Town. Sadie Johnson here for dinner. Mrs Bishop here in afternoon. Mr B came for her. Wilbur and Horrace Willis here for the night.
15 Fine. Girls washed. Keith got six teeth out at H River. Ernest helping Wyands at ice and Mr Wyand here for dinner. Sick at night, fever.
16 Lovely day all day. Mr Ling here in afternoon and Jean and Wesley here at night. Wyand finished ice. Mrs Elijah Hill died yesterday.
17 Perfect day. Ernest, Keith, & Lorraine went to Hunter River. Institute at Roy Toombs. Orange Lodge Banquet last night. Got box eats compliments LOBA. Nuff said.
18 Dirty day, Egg Circle Meeting. Started Anita’s quilt. Mrs Wyand called this evening.
19 Quite a rough day. Elynor Ackland had operation on appendicitis in PEIsland Hospital. YPS at Manse.
20 6A. Bitter cold, blowing hard, drifting. Bitter cold to-night. Mrs Wyand started to Toronto.
21 2A. Bitter cold but fine and moderated a little by Sunday night. Annie Lowther here in afternoon. No church.

21 Railway accident at 4 AM between Passenger train and snow plough ½ mile from Tignish. 4 killed and 16 wounded. Leo Murphy died before reaching hospital. Sing song at Jerrys at night.
22 2A. Keith and Lorraine went to Hunter River to dentist. Ernest went to mill. Winnie over in afternoon and Alex up in evening. Anita skating. Marion not very well.
23 Fine day. Ernest went to H. River for coal. Youngsters went to Prestons for evening. Girls washed. Wind NE tonight.
24 Zero. Keith hauling mud. Girls hooking. Gertrude has mumps. No school. Preaching in Baptist church at night. Blanche Wyand & Emma Moyse here and Mr. Quigley. Anna sick with cold.
25 Zero. K. went for mud again to Sou West River. Gertrude better. Girls hooking. Letter from Maud.
26 Fine but still zero and cold east wind. YPS at Roy Toombs to-night. K. went to S. West for mud. Anita sick. Malcom pretty poorly.
27 Fine but cloudy. Anita in bed, rest busy. No news.
28 Sunday. Still cloudy, bleak wind. Wilbur and Horace came up before dinner. Fever in afternoon. U. Church.
29 Boys went home this morning. Keith at mud. Silver thaw this afternoon. Feeling better again.
March 1 Northeast gale, thawing. Anita sick and I had fever again.
2 Poured rain most of day. Keith & Anita have colds. Feeling rotten most of day. Snowing and blowing to-night.
