1 Temp 50A noon to-day. Fields bare and green. Roads bad, most snow gone. Mr Armstrong preached in afternoon. Irene & Blanche here all night. Turned colder and blowing a gale.
2 Froze this morning and getting colder all day. Blowing a gale. All invited to Jerry’s. I stayed home and kept on fires.
3 Fine day but cold. 3A zero this morning. Washed. Lonesome to-night. Have radio in to-night.
4 Lovely fine day. Busy all day. Keith at rink. Radio good to-night.
5 Snowed some in morning. Very cold at night.
6 Snowing a little to-night. Group at Fred’s. Albert came home from O’Leary.
7 Fine day, grey. Went to Wyands at night to practice.
8 Snowing a little to-day. Radio good. Anita at Wyands. Reading Wallflowers.
9 Fine but cloudy. Ernest came home from O’Leary. Met him at Mr. Armstrong’s. Practice here to-night for play.
10 Fine day, good roads. Ernest Marion & I went up to Ced Simpsons to Missionary meeting. Called at Fred’s, Gertrude’s has been so sick with throat & ear trouble.
11 Lovely morning. Snowing to-night. Killed
chickens. Practice here to-night for play.
12 Killed and canned fowl. Mild. Got 25c per lb for chickens from Harold. Did not send any to Reuel this year. Dad and I at Jerry’s to see about getting up a play. Among the Breakers. Marion at Freds all night.

13 Finished canning. Back very sore. Group at Chester Woolners. Snowing in afternoon. Keith went to Mayfield for Gertrude Ackland. Rained at night and lightning.
14 Lovely mild day, turned cold in evening. Anna & I made a few sick calls at Ms. Hammond McKenzies and Alex McNeills and had tea at Alberts. Practice at Jerrys.
15 4A. Colder and snowing a little. Blowing hard. Mr. Armstrong preached at night. Darnley Clark very very poorly, feet discolouring and swelling. Dr Houston out to see Gertrude.
16 Zero. Keith took Gertrude Ackland to Mayfield in AM and froze his face. Calmed down in evening. Badly crippled. Young people practice at Wilburs. Gertrude better but very very weak yet. Dad up to see Darnley & Gertrude this afternoon and over to Austins in evening. Marion at Freds to-night.
