11  Fine but gray all day. Looks like snow to-night. Ernest & girls at turnips. In bed this AM. Making Lorraine’s red dress. Rev Jackson through a bomb into the group.

12  Raining in AM. Finished turnips in afternoon. Everyone sore at Jackson’s for the way he has acted. Practice at Jerry’s.

 

13  Fine all day. Dad went down to Alberts after dinner. Lorne, Cecil & Leona in after church.

 

14  Fine all day. Washed in AM. Went over to Austin’s for tea and to the Creek at night.

 

15  Raining. Marion & Anita went to Kensington to Young People’s convention.

 

16  Cloudy and very dark all day. Institute at Mrs Alex McNeills. Mrs Doyle the new president, Marion Secy. Good crowd, good meeting.

 

17  Fine all day and still very warm. Finished Waine’s dress. Aunna & Marion collecting for Bible society. Killed little pig.

 

18  Cloudy and raining in afternoon. Children went to group to-night. Very warm.

 

19  Cooler, N wind. Very muddy and dirty. Anna & I went to church. Practice here to-night.

20  Fine day. In bed all day. Arthur Woolner here for dinner. Irene Wyand for supper. Blanche came before church. Mont & Roy landed afterwards. Froze and cleaner.

 

21  Fine and cold. Banking house. Back pretty sore. Ellice here for dinner. Anna and I went to Bob McKenzies in the evening. Ernest went with John Laird to Rustico Bank to meetings.

 

22  Grey day and raining nearly all day. Not doing much.

 

23  Snowing this AM. Turned to rain. Very dirty.

 

24  Finer day but very cold. Anita washed. Hester and Anna here this evening. The girls went to Mrs Buotes with Marions coat. Will Gray in Alberton shot himself and accidentally his wife early this morning.

 

25  Fine. Heard the news of Will Gray’s suicide. Just about all in to-night.

 

26  Fine and clean underfoot. The Group reorganized last night strictly undenominational. Rose Gray better. Practice here to-night.

 

27  Rained a little, frost out again. Cecil & Leona here to dinner. In bed all day.
