21 Dark in forenoon. Our first snow storm in afternoon. Decorating in church for concert and Xmas tree.

22 Fine. Decorating at Darnley in afternoon. Concert & Christmas tree at night. Very good. Rained.
23 Snow in the night. Started to blow in afternoon. Golden Wedding at night. Wild, blustery & much colder. Darnley Clarkes’ Golden Wedding.
24 12A. Quite cold. A lot of snow down. Santa busy all day. Awfully tired. Got home from Golden Wedding at 2:30. Busy baking etc. Pauline has cold.
25 Lovely day. Bright and not very cold. Santa extra good to us this year. Keith gave me a dozen silver spoons. Dad overshoes and the girls slippers and a fancy basket, stocking from Mima, etc.
26 Milder, snowed a little all day. A big dose of cards came and parcel from Gordon’s. Not feeling extra well to-day. Shower at Joe Stewarts for Carol Simpson. Nita went up with Cecil.
27 Zero. Cold and blustery. Roads bad. No preaching.
1925 Dec & Jan 1926
28 28A All my plants got a second freezing. Mild all day, turned colder again at night. Marion has bad cold.
29 15A. Washed. Cold. Marion quite grippy. Keith sleepy. Worked too hard at rink yesterday.
30 Dark gray day, chilly. Roads bad. Lots of snow.
31 Keith thrashing at Jerry’s. Dad went to Stanley with cream. Lorraine, sick all day, and Marion not much better. Practice here at night.
Jan 1, 1926 Fine day. Dad hauling wood. Anita, Dad & I went over to New Glasgow to a concert in Christian church. Bad road but not very cold. Got home at midnight.
2 Not feeling very well. Baptist practice here at night. Marion keeping a little better. All sick at Charlie Wyands.
3 Fine but drifting. Mr. McGowan of Georgetown preached in United Church. Very Irish.
4 Cold, headache, Marion had earache.
5 Mild. Marion in bed most of day with with earache. Anita brought autoharp over yesterday
6 Washed but pouring rain so could not dry clothes. Rained hard and thawed quite a lot. Ernest has bad cold.
