19th S.W. Fine, wind cold. Busy trying to get ready for Xmas. Practice here. Wyands and Cecil came over to see Anna after noon. She is pretty sore and weak right now.
20th 10 degrees above. Cold blustery day. Thrashing in AM. Practice in church for concert. Cold to-night.
21st 4 degrees below. W. Very cold, blowing very hard and drifting. We did not have any church today. Thermometer at zero this afternoon.
22nd 4 above. Still pretty cold. Cecil went to town, Elaine & Myron came from Montague. Concert and and Xmas tree at Pres. Church. Very good program and a present for all the kiddies.
23 Fine milder. Washed. Myron & Elaine down in afternoon. School examination, Ernest went. Ernest, K.L, P & me went up to Bay View to hear radio in evening. Got home at 12.
24 Anita at Jerry’s. All pretty busy here. Box of books from Maud, 30 books. Made doughnuts and candy.
25 A mild and Merry Xmas. Everybody got up at first call. Santa very very good to all. Going up to mother’s for Xmas dinner. Called to see Anna in the morning and Mrs. Albert in afternoon. Both looked so happy. Marion packed her trunk.
Good roads, sleighing.

27 36 above. Ernest went to Wheatley River to Roller Mill. Lovely day. Anita at Jerry’s.
28 Sunday. 2 below this morning. Blew a gale all night. Cold but bright and clear to-day.
29 Lovely bright day. Cold. Sawed wood at Cecil’s.

30 Snowed a little in morning, sawed wood. Letter from Marion. Feeling pretty mean, back sore.
31 Lovely morning. Ernest went to town about Aunt Margaret’s will. Turned cold in afternoon, blowing hard and colder to-night.
1925 January 1st Bitter cold day. 2 degrees below and blowing hard from NW & W. Calmer this evening. Daddy not home, guess it was too cold for him to start out. Keeping the fires going. Sleepy to-night.
2 0 degrees this morning. Bright fine day but cold. Ernest got home about 4pm. Cecil down in evening.
3 Fine day. Anna over in afternoon. Jerry came for her in evening. Practice here.
4 Sunday. Pres church in am. Union sermon by Mr. Aitken, Mr Hodges preached his last sermon in the evening. Big crowd out. Lovely mild night.
