3 cupboard, etc. I cleaned the pantry. Going to bed early.
4 NE & N. Just horrid all day, fog and freezing out to the trees. New calf. Papered the big room, pretty tired to-night.
5 Sunday N. Cold all day. Everybody tired, no church. Anna & Jerry and Austin Laird and wife here in PM.
6 N. this AM and froze quite hard. West wind to-night and looks finer. Papered ceiling in Anita’s room to-day. Down to Albert’s for a few minutes this evening. Anne and Jerry there so we called at McCoubreys. Perfect night.
7 SW and S. Lovely this AM. Blowing and bright. Had bedding out this AM. Papered Nita’s room to-day. Blowing a gale tonight. Keith & Nan went into Wyands.
8 N. Blowing hard. 3 yrs ago to-day Dad cut his hand with axe. In bed all day with sick headache. Ernest went to Creek for seeds. Red clover 43 ½ c. [?] 21 ½. Pres. Miss meeting at John Fs. Anna & I invited but Anna had to go alone. Marion, Clara, Marjorie & Elmer here.
9 N & S.W. Feeling a little better. Busy all day. Expecting Marion tomorrow. Tired tonight.

10 S.W. this AM & NE to-night. Mr Webster & Mr. Prowse out to-day. Keith went to town to meet Marion. They got home at 5:45 tonight. Marion looks fine.

10 It is pretty good to have her home again. Set 2 hens.
11 E. Wind cold cold all day. Dad went to H. River for Marion’s trunk. Hester down in evening. Nan & I went up with Thyra & I came home with Nan.
12 Easter Sunday. E. wind and cold all day. Marion[?] & Cecil down for dinner. Thyra here all day. Preaching in afternoon. 3 oldest went over to Jerry’s.
13 E or NE and nearly as cold as yesterday. Ground white this AM. George, Gertrude & Mary here to-night. Made taffy. Dad & I over to Jerry’s for a little while.
14 E. heavy white frost but a perfect morning. Mrs. Eustis washed. Wind came around at noon. Dad & I went over to Hazel Grove to see Mrs. Bagnall. Marion & girls over to Jerry’s. Keith went up to Herbies for smelts. Got none. Saw a butterfly. Roads wonderfully dry. Cars running.
15 S & SE. Dad went with load of oats to Stanley for Cecil. Rained in afternoon. Marion sick with grippe. Ironed, mending and darning. Dad churned.
16 SW & NE. Marion still in bed, feeling pretty miserable. I cleaned spare room. Got first herring and may flowers to-day. Herring 2c each. Ernest clipped Laddie and went to mill. political meeting to-night at Mayfield & Dad [?].
