27 S. Just a perfect day. Temp up to 32. Had a walk in forenoon. Girls went over to Mrs Lowthers after dinner. Baptist Church at night.
28 30A and snowed quite a lot. Pauline washed but we didn’t put out the clothes. Very dirty day but not blowing. Wind East.
March 1 14A and blowing harder this morning and wind more north. Bright day but wind very cold. Alvah McNeill lost another horse. Tough luck to lose two inside of three days.
2 4B and a grey day and cold again to-night. Roads heavy. Got another male pheasant to-day, this one from NB. CGIT at Alfred Moores. Robie came up for the girls.
3 2B this morning and 10B to-night and is it cold. Ham here for dinner and Ernest down to Lorne McNeills helping them start their sealer. Terrible floods in Southern California. Cecil Simpson has jaundice.
4 14B here, 26 at Hope River, 22 at Simpson Bells. Pretty cold day but cloudless. Ernest went to Hunter River this afternoon. Going to O Leary to-night. YPS at Milton Greens.

5 2 above and went up to 30 but down again to 20 at night. Snowing by supper time. PJ went to Stanley with Marguerite but got home before dark. Edward over.
6 S. 33 above this morning but turned colder by noon. No one went to Church from here. Quiet day.
7 10 above and a glorious day but walking terrible. Lorraine had to break her road to school and the crust made it very hard. Committee meeting

7th here and WCTU at Arties. Bad roads, heavy.
8 Lewis Toombs and the girls are away to CGIT at Milton Greens and a practice for St. Patricks social at Aflred Moores. Got quilt patches from MacNamaras.

9 5 below this morning and kept cold all day. Charlie went up to Hunter River for Ernest. Practice at Charlie McKenzies to-night.
10 4B and cold all day, more like January than March. Ernest went down to Alec’s for a quarter of pork. Robbie up in the evening to practice and Winks the kitten went home with him.
11 12 below and was it cold. Feeling better to-day. Charlie Anita and Lorraine went to Town this evening. Pauline went to Stanley to YPS with Marguerite. Serious trouble in Austria. Government taken over by Nazis.
12 32A. Hitler in Austria to-day and the Germans have taken charge. A lovely day. Peter Sinclairs funeral to-day, service in Ch Town, will be buried in Summerfield to-morrow. Girls had a nice trip to Town. Robbie took them down to practice.
13 S. 33 A but a chill wind. Girls went to church in afternoon. Quiet day.
14 12A. But bitter cold and blowing. Girls washed in AM. St. Patricks social at Manse. Cold night. Hitler in Vienna. Pauline 18 yrs old. Two feet of snow on level. No break.
